Are urbans better for frequent skating or freestyle skates.. i want it for riding around streets and skate parks assuming i do it everyday.

Awesome video. I'm getting back into blading after not doing it for over 30 years! Been shopping around and the micro adjust on the Lightening sold me. Was about to get some FR FR3s due to the camming front and rear wheel, but I'll take fine tuning of the boot any day. Also glad it comes with a rear brake. I can use that while I re-learn my technique and then ditch it when I'm confident. As for the color way. I found the 80 colorways just too garish. Much prefer the more mild look of the 90s.

Will you prefer the boot Of the Lightning or the boot Of the Maxxum Edge?

I really don’t like them. Seba fr3 model is much more better and comfy.

Two years later… how did these frames aged?
@BINY_Channel2 ай бұрын
I road them for a bit. The biggest issue was that due to the frame walls dipping much lower than the axels on some setups, when we wheels were worn out, the frames would sometimes scrape the floor when preforming slides/stops. The unique hardware required for this setup also made wheels rotations and maintenance more difficult

Thank you! This is the only video on KZbin where I can see how to mount the wheels in an iqon frame 🙌🏽

why you dont adjust to your foot size? 😅😅
@DanielHigbee-j8c2 ай бұрын
I think there is a lot of adjustments you can make to the straps i think you need tools to fine tune them.

If you were going to skate then go in a store you still need a bag to put the skate in. Why not carry a bag with shoes. A carrying strap for them would work. They look interesting i would try lots of different shoes.

I liked them but the heel looks like a woman's shoe and the side protector looks ugly. The fact they have dropped in price significantly gives me alarm bells

Thanks for you review! Im looking into switching to these ones, I have a pair of Twisters LE, but I think they are to narrow for my feet, I always end up with a pain in my navicular bone on the inside part of the foot, the bone is even growing which makes the problem worst, I hope these would fit better

How was your experience with them? Did you enjoy it? It would be nice to have a followup video about it :)
@BINY_Channel3 ай бұрын
I no longer own them. They were ok. There was an issue where the blades slid just a bit in the holders. I could hear them click when I skated. They were also very annoying to install because they require a specific hex key.

Just a general question, what price range should I exspect for a good pair of Slalom skates? Also do you have any brands or styles you recommend?
@BINY_Channel3 ай бұрын
You're probably referring to a mid/low cuff carbon boot with a rockered frame. But technically, all you really need for slalom is a rockered frame. The price range is around 300-$800. But if you're just starting out, you only really need a rockered frame if your boot isn't terrible.

I'm skating on Hydrogens now and considering buying these MPCs, as I heard MPCs are feeling softer under the feet. Did you get the same feeling? At the store I noticed that these rebound from the desk much more quiet and softer than Hydrogens. By not looking at the X-Firm vs 85A parameters - could you confirm if you noticed such difference? Thank you.

Real life Jet Grind Radio. Skating through one of the biggest cities! 🌆 I love it! I’m coming down next week. Wish I knew about these events while I still lived in the city! It’s not too late it looks! I’m glad the city officials are allowing it! 😊

I bought a pair of aggressive inline skates because I wanted to learn to do some tricks. but by the time spent, I realised I also wanted to do some distances too but it was so hard to turn with it so I was thinking about changing the wheels. I know that it's not the best, but money wise I think this was the best thing to do instead of buying a new set of inline skates. thank you for all those important informations that can help a lot of people

I really want some skates for exercise and to travel to places , some long distances . But I hate the aesthetic of the big wheels 😅. I once saw someone using some cool looking little wheels skates that looked cool and comfortable but idk if those are good for what I want them for . They might’ve been for grinding Tbh. Solid black with a little white gap at the bottom.

I love them, but the heel lift is real! And if it was 30cm exact they would be perfect. But because my heel wont stay back my toes get cramped so bad. That 45 degree strap needs to be positioned a lil higher so my fiot can stay heel to heel.

And you also forgot the off-road skates, like the Rollerblade Coyote and the Powerslide Next Outback 150. I have the Coyote with Powerslide 145mm PU 82A wheels and ceramic bearings. They're fast!!!
