This might actually become really popular; it's rare that you see electric skates with an electric skateboard remote, especially the higher 17mph top speed, regen brakes and 2.5-3ah battery.

Dope video! I was pumped when I saw they selected you as one of the beta testers. Would love to hear your thoughts on these once you skate them more. Some questions I would be curious about is how are they for general city skating? The wheels look pretty budget making me think they would have a hard time on rougher city streets. How do we feel going up or down hill?

First I saw the Escend Frames are for sale in the UK and now I see these powered plate things. It's interesting more powered skate stuff is coming to market, I do wonder who the target market is though? I can only assume it's people that don't skate, because the vast majority of skaters enjoy the actual act of skating.
@888alphaable2 жыл бұрын
Well, that sure is interesting. It looks like there's a quad skate toe stop for that heel break, which is wild. I'm really impressed with how well they got the 'user experience' down, but I'm equally surprised that they're a strap-on and didn't come with a boot. I guess the proof will be in how mechanically reliable they are. I get the impression that this will hit it's stride when they develop an inline setup, but I'd wanna hear your thoughts.

After receiving the product and using it for just 15 minutes a day on the second day, the fixing strap on the front wheel side was cut. I replaced it with another strap, and to my dismay, within minutes, the new strap was also cut. Upon inspecting the strap on the opposite leg, I noticed a crack, even though it hadn't broken yet. I contacted the AIRTRICK TEAM, and their response was that the straps are prone to being cut to protect the ankle. Their initial suggestion was to purchase additional straps. However, it's important to note that nowhere on the website or in the manual is it mentioned that the straps are susceptible to frequent damage, necessitating additional purchases, as in my case. When I raised this concern with them, they agreed to send me a replacement strap but suggested that I bear the shipping cost. I am very disappointed that the straps are breaking at such a high frequency, requiring additional purchases, which is cost-prohibitive. I was also disappointed in the response from the AIRTRICK TEAM. I have included these details in my review to share this experience with others.

I wonder how the motor work on 8:37. It was rotating forward originally, but what about he jumps and switch to backward at that moment?
@joeschmo26932 жыл бұрын
Meh. If the battery lasts long enough to get you to work, I guess you wouldn't be sweaty when you got there. For recreation, kind of defeats the purpose of skating, which is to skate. Think I'd prefer a moped with a cargo rack for my skates, and a hockey stick holster.

Hi BINY, dope product review you showed in this video and loved it max!! Just one quick deal-breakable question before i get mine from indigogo. From the review and product picture shown in Airtricks website, the rear motor-powered wheel tires thickness seems much thinner than then usual skate wheel tires. Based on ur opinion, how far /how long do you think the tires will last (on tarmac surface) before the tires fully wear out and eats into the core metal of the motorized wheel hub? A general set of 100mm 85A wheel (Triskate setup) can last me about a year with daily use for 5-6km. Will be a big disappointment if the skates tires only last for months or a year and we need to replace the entire need electronic wheelhub that comes together with the tire which i assume will be costly.
@BINY_Channel2 жыл бұрын
I haven't used them beyond what you saw in the video. I used them in an ideal environment for about two hours. Didn't see much wear on wheels. But I can't honestly make a good call on how they will hold up. I've been very busy so maybe I can make an extensive review in the future. This was a unboxing and first impressions
