So she was being trained as a Witcher but didn't take the trials to get the enhancement because of the risk and her own power plus the mutation will have a negative effect on her

Hopefully CDPR doesn’t let this be her end and gives us a new story that continues her journey. She’s such a great character and Witcher 3 really nailed her too 😊

Rubbish, in the books Triss was the weakest sorceress, cowardly in the Battle of Sodden, she got into the Lodge only because of Philippa's policy and her "Hailstorm" was caused by accident and with the help of Yennefer's power. "powerful battle mage" - LOL

it's strongly implied that Ciri has unicorn blood, either through Avallach's experimentation on the Falka line through mutagens or simply because the Aen Elle are degenerate zoophiles and that's why she sometimes is sexually attracted to horses.

1:15 "transforming into stunningly beautiful women" *Looks at Triss in Witcher TV-series* Right... Don't get me wrong, I love Triss and shipped them since 1st game. Not hating at the actress's appearance but I think they did her in Tv-show dirty... Everyone's having a perfect beauty but not Triss. WHY. Just take her look from the game! It would be so Perfect

Why thank you! Netflix 'adaptation' actually differs from book canon, and it will be going sideways even more in the later seasons for sure. So if you like the core idea of the show, consider exploring the books/games, someday. Cheers!

The idea of speed reading upset me in deep parts of my soul.
@InnerPeacePhilosophy
@InnerPeacePhilosophy 3 жыл бұрын
Well it's not really meant for the literature that you enjoy, it's more about saving time digging through some mundane and low-value stuff - articles, manuals and textbooks when you're short on time. If you Can speed-digest some text, it's always an option, but never an obligation:)

@@InnerPeacePhilosophy ah that makes more sense. I really love to just set up camp in a book and meander, slow down and lose track of time. But yeah, with work literature and content I tend to speed read big time. Regarding full length books there’s actually several apps that’s condense a book into 15 minutes. I’ve never looked into them but it sounds interesting.
@InnerPeacePhilosophy
@InnerPeacePhilosophy 3 жыл бұрын
Never tried the apps, but I used to read short book summaries during school years to save time, since at school books are kinda forced on you, and there's absolutely no joy in reading those at the time. So both shorties and speedreading are alike tools which you may or may not use, but nice to have at your disposal :)

Even in the books I liked Triss far better than Yen. And especially the games, but I am boycotting #3 until they come up with a fix and include Iorveth, the great and powerful. Still, both beautiful, so I can understand guys preferences, but Triss seemed to have so much more humanity than Yen.

Living by Pareto is an art. I would add that the rule is double-edged sword: not only 20% of things bring 80% of our happiness, but there are also 20% of things that bring 80% of frustration, and if you don't get rid of those, just doing 'happy things' could only help that much.

@@priyakaramchandani1415 Heyyy, thank you for the comment! Glad you found it helpful! It's been my 1st video in a long while, so its creation process was pretty hectic, but it's pretty much research->script->execution: first of all I picked a topic that I thought would be more or less evergreen, and then tried to focus on writing a solid script without too much fluff as a foundation, and then made visuals based on it :) A lot to improve on still! There will be a true comeback in 2022 =p

@@InnerPeacePhilosophy can you describe in detail what raw materials you used while doing research, script and execution. Obviously without great tools one cant do effective research. I mean which articles, software you used in the process of making short crisp video of great content. I do realise that compiling crisp content with lots of resources sounds easy but actually its not. 😃
@InnerPeacePhilosophy

Google the topic and see what comes out, then make core bulletpoints, and wing it from there basically. I used after effects since I had to create all the animations myself, but it really depends on the format, many people just use premiere pro or similar software. More limited but simplier and faster

I chose Triss for quite a few reasons tbh and this is from someone who has only just started reading the first of the witcher books: I like Triss because most of the time when I play rpgs that have romances I go for the character who is least like the protagonist. Opposites attract as they say. Geralt lives in a grim world and you could say Triss is his one bright light amidst all the darkness. Someone who cheers him up even on his darkest days. I also like her because for the very fact that she's not canon. Normally the non canon romances are my favourites, like Zevran from Dragon Age for example, or Garrus from Mass Effect. They turn out to be the most heartfelt and romantic. To me anyway. I also like Triss because despite the manipulation she still treats him as a partner should. Like Geralt says in 3 when talking to Ciri. With Triss there's a calm, like things are the way they're supposed to be. With Yen its fight after fight and always wanting things done her way. But above all I like Triss because of the ending of blood and wine. Both Yen and Triss have completely different endings. You have Yen who gives up everything she is to be with Geralt and just wanting to run far away from all the drama and politics. Then you have Triss who doesn't give anything up, who remains involved with matters of the world. People may consider that a bad thing, but it depends on your perspective. The way I see love is not expecting your partner to change, or to give up everything they enjoy doing. Instead Geralt and Triss continue on the way they live their life, and instead of wanting the other person to give it all up, they work around that and just support each other unconditionally. In the dialogue of Triss showing Geralt the house she wants them to live in he goes along the line of saying I want to remain a witcher? And you know what? Instead of like Shani for example and saying it won't work, Triss accepts him for who he is. At the end of the day all she cares about is them being together. She says "as long as you come back to me" or something along those lines. So yeah I love Triss's ending. It's not everyones cup of tea but I would love a romance like that. Having no expectations of what they enjoy doing. Just let them do it and support that and still be together in some way. Not trying to change anyones opinion just figured since I was on a Triss video i could point out what all my favourite things about her are 🙂

If Yen is Geralts destiny, why did the developers end up adding a ton of romance scenes between them basically enticing you to pick the calm and sweet Triss over the completely opposite yennefer? Just a thought
