When Em's first album blew up, there were a LOT of upset people. Eminem was accused of being homophobic, misogynistic, and of promoting violence to the point where he was getting blamed by politicians for Columbine, because the shooters were fans (Marilyn Manson got this treatment even worse, but Em also got mentioned in major speeches at the time). His response was this album, which is wilder and angrier than anyone could have imagined. This is the first song on that album.
