I made this for the first time today. I'm just leaving it to cool in some tupperware but I did lick the spatula and it really does surprisingly taste a lot like butter! Amazing 😁 I expect I'll be making this again!

Salting legumes before cooking can slow down the cooking process a little, but it doesn't make them hard. A lot of places say to salt from the beginning for increased tenderness.

I made it and it's tasty. Only thing is, I noticed yours is nice and creamy, no little bits of nuts. I do have a vitamix but did not put it up to the highest level. Would that make a difference so I can mine creamy too?

Australia 🇦🇺 CHIA PUDDING BASE RECIPE 1/2 cup almond milk 2tbsp chia seeds 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional) Variations: 1. 1tsp cinnamon * pinch of ground cardamon + cloves+ 2tsp chopped raisins 2. 1tsp green matcha powder + shredded coconut 3. 2 tbsp each of banana + strawberries + cinnamon 4. 1 tbsp cocoa powder + cinnamon 5. Add a variety of seeds + Cranberries Use glass lidded jars and make 3-5 jars at a time. It’s just not for breakfast. A healthy snack that’s filling. I love chia seeds, so big thanks for this! They are also great to mix with leftover berries in a pot on the stovetop. Add a little water and sugar and you have a fairly fast jam mixture - no pectin needed.

You can add frozen lettuce to soups, stews, stir fries etc! Can be handy if you have too much, and it will go bad otherwise.
