I see a channel started about the same time as me 20,000+ subscribers. 20,000 views on an episode that has no special finds and with only 4 comments.

New subscriber, medium 👍 just ordered a G2+ on the back of this video, that and a fantastic outing of a newly acquired T2se off Graeme, I couldn’t believe how well behaved it was and very easy to use, can’t wait for the G2+ to arrive tomorrow hopefully 🙏 more on the G2+ / T2se please as I find it baffling that they are so quickly forgotten about in the mist of multi frequency machines the market is flooded with. I am not bashing them as I am a minelab sovereign / Nox 800 user but single frequency still has its place 👨🦯👨🦯👨🦯

@dalegowing actually, the spreader is a better guess. Hay elevators tend to have the little prongs or spike thingys on them to grip the bales. And not doing too bad, beautiful sunny and warm fall day here in Nova Scotia! I'm hoping to get some time out with the detector in the coming weeks, it's just been too hot (for me!) this summer, ha. I'm glad to see you're getting out and making some interesting finds! 👍😁 Pete 🇨🇦

The chain thing is from the bed of an old muck speader. I used to use a muck spreader regularly when I was a pig farmer! There would have been two chains parallel with each other about a meter apart holding slats in between at regular intervals that would slowly push the manure to the back of the spreader where there would be a rotary prong that would fling the manure onto the field. Great video.

@@dalegowing hard to say because the indigenous people have been making them the same way for quite some time I’m pretty sure. But as fragile as obsidian is it’s possible they aren’t too old. The ones I have found were on my grandparents property which was partly a site of an indigenous fishing and deer hunting camp for who knows how many years, I have also found some for hunting birds that were only the size of a finger tip, those are my favorites
