Bonita is great in “Merrily We Live.” Of course, the Frontier Tower was originally “The Bonita Tower.”

California started seriously circling the toilet bowl by the early '70s. This era was pretty close to paradise on earth. How sad that Demoncrats and their policies have destroyed such a beautiful state.

So I’m thinking they came into town & checked into a smaller motel and spent the day at the park. But the next day they actually had reservations for the Disneyland Hotel. I wonder if they went to the park again? Or swam? So many questions!

We went there a couple of times a year a few years in the early 60's. Loved the stage shootouts, but my favorite was the calvery fort. I was in little boy heaven with an entire fort to play in.

So sorry there were no interior shots. Also, despite the fact that the woman is definitely "Dressed For Shopping" sadly it appears she did not buy one thing. Oh well. it's good to see what there is. Just wish there was more. Thanks for sharing.

Long gone are the days when people dressed respectably, now people wake around half dressed at the park, dressed comfortably is 1 thing but dressed appropriately for a FAMILY park is another thing entirely

I believe that was my mom dancing the Tahitian dance at the end of the video. Victorine Tepiu Richmond, one of the first immigrants to come to Anaheim from the islands of Tahiti with my father, Max Richmond. So beautiful to see this footage of her doing what she loved, it’s been 11 years since she passed, and my father passed in 2006. Such fond memories of them and I’m happy to see she lives on in this video. Thank you so much for sharing ❤❤

We stayed at the hotel for a few days during this time. I remember feeling so sad about the changes. I grew up loving this hotel. If I remember correctly the Monorail would go forward into the park and travel in reverse back to the hotel. I really miss the horseshoe falls and the dancing waters, and especially the Monorail Cafe. I have so many great memories of them.
