I agree! i also think bc they (GOT7) arent popular in korea, he got disappointed in the results, so as a business move- they started investing in other younger groups. but i also agree- their personality was electric and he was jealous bc they could be bigger than him. Especially Jinyoung- good looking, beautiful voice, good actor and had star power... with HIS name... he did not like that at all. if you look at Twice and Stray kids- they are quiet and boring and dont really have the personality. 2nd and 3rd generation groups have the personality and when they get more popular than him he is done. Itzy is the only group left that seems to have the feisty personality and he hasnt really been promoting them either. His style of music is out dated and he is scared that he is no longer a hit maker. With Social Media, westernized music is spear-headed by the new generation and its hurting his ego bc he use to the bc the special one living in the US and calling himself "asian-soul"

I was pretty upset about them losing. The Grammys needs to make some changes. The Grammys needs to make a separate category including K-pop groups, not just a category including groups for other countries and continents, like the United States or Europe. What I hate they about the Grammys is that they sometimes use BTS for clout and attention. I'm happy Doja Cat and SZA won for Kiss Me More for Duo/ Best Group, But BTS did deserve it, but that doesn't mean that Doja Cat and SZA don't work hard on their music. The Grammys needs to realize that they shouldn't use BIPOC artists for clout or attention, especially when in it comes to groups and singers like BTS and The Weeknd, an African-Canadian singer, which are artists of color from other countries outside of the United States, BTS comes from South Korea and The Weeknd comes from Canada, respectively. The Grammys and the music industry, and any industry in general shouldn't just snub people of color, especially people from other countries. This is how xenophobia forms in the Grammys and the music industry starts to form and rise.

This year with them releasing Butter and Permission To Dance, who knows if those songs will be nominated this year at the Grammys. Butter maybe but not really sure about PTD. I really wish some of the artists last year who were nominated won at least one award. Take Roddy Ricch for example. Nominated for 6 awards including Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year and ended up with 0 WINS!!! That right there was a huge red flag for me. Hopefully BTS will get another nomination this year and win the award. They deserve it so badly
