Love the Lunachicks! There were so many good female bands back in the 90s in NYC! My Band THRUST opened for GG Allin @ Beowulf on Ave A in early 90’s. Wish I had videos of our shows we were pretty WILD! Lol 🔥

Just saw a picture of a young Harley Flanagan at a punk concert in Aarhus, Denmark from 1978. 10-11 years old. From when he lived there with his mother. It's in a book by Danish radio presenter and photographer Jan Sneum. RIP

they repeated this introduction at other shows and locations for sure because i remember in 88 they brought freddie onstage at AF in a Miami florida show.

I remember my high school friends and I cutting school to go into the city to see this show. It was crazy, I’m there somewhere in the front. I remember hearing someone ended up being paralyzed from stage diving and landing on his head…terrible.

You know it’s a good show when the bass goes out of tune because you beat some punk ass kids with it 😂😂😂😂😂

Lost my shoe at a show when I was 15. Got my toes broke and it sucked. My older skin friends laughed and pointed to their steel toed boots. Been wearing them ever since. And I'm 53 now.

I remember there was like a 7” or demo - basically AF with Freddie on vocals, age 12. There was a cover of an AF tune from United Blood. Great stuff

Harley's bass playing just makes it sound bad. I don't think Paris Mayhew is in the line up. He can tune his guitar and I know for a fact he owned a tuner back then too. Plus he's a shredder.
@RickJames-n4d11 ай бұрын
I detect some tuning issues on this one. LOL! Then they tune up and its worse.

This is one of the tightest performances i've ever seen from a punk band. I've seen Dinosaur Jr., Flipper, Black Flag, Fugazi, Sonic Youth, Raw Power. Dayglo Abortions, Beefeater, L7, Tribe 8., etc, but the only band that came closest with pure live performance was the Refused, who I saw on their reunion tour in Malmö. Like this Lunachicks crowd, everyone knew the lyrics. I wish I'd seen this show, but I was more a Mudd Club person.
