Primordial net gun and pretty much net anything... even really big stuff. I just clear out trouble, net and tranq. Also I cargo quetz can pick up a lot of big things to move into traps... they are slow though.

Tap the button for sprint, it'll toggle it on/off. Then you can hold the button like you normally would, and when you release it, you'll go back to walking

I'm on a cluster with this mod and hate it. It's a ridiculous size and just keeps getting bigger. The spawn zones are messy and you just get dragons everywhere. I wish the maker would stop adding things because it's got to the point where I will have to quit my cluster, because I don't have the storage space for it.

You only get Eggs from the Barn now, but the advantage of butchering Chickens from the barn is you get one extra meat, But of course you have to use "Tranquilizer Arrows" on them first, to get them into the Barn. Now you have the Iron you need to research the "Extractors" Building one at your base will give you Stone, Iron Ore, and Iron Frags, or you can set it to Stone only and get a Stone every minute.

Well, you did get the materials built for your first mineral extractor!

Nice to see you back in The Infected. A good tip: Harvest watermelon and melon. You have planted both of them. Craft in your base the food preperation table. No tech needed. With one slice of melon+watermelon and an empty can you can craft the fruit salata. Very long life time (spoils after 20 ingame hours) and usefull for winter days. Try it when you have some extra time. Also 2 small sticks in your forges iand you are ok to smelt rocks or fragments. Leaving the forge burning longer you increase the light counter and you will get attacked sooner by a horde. The counters are not visible as before to know when you'll get attacked!

The bike is part of the mechanic class so you need to be in the workbench when it finishes or it won’t count you can get around that by putting anything in the output slots then when you come back it will put it in your inventory and give you credit that goes for every part

You just have the mineral extractor ready to go when you get the tech! I play perma death so anything you survive is a win. 😂If you keep a spare gas can and first aid kit in the ATV cargo, you can still fit 16 ingots in it. You can carry 2 more ingots, 16 planks, and 8 nails as well as as much biofuel as you have ready to go. You can slap down a crate and extractor in one easy run. (I like the spare crate to store biofuel and extra weight for the next run) I don't have the greenhouse tech yet but am counting on putting it on the roof this playthrough. If i built this base and the game doesn't let me place it on the roof. That would be a mistake. Enjoy the content, keep making em, ill keep watching em.

lol ingots 🤣Move all button (right click the item and select from the drop-down menu).. your first extractor should be at your base to make stone ( because they don't respawn) and I believe you have an extra tech point..

It's worth the extra forge simply because you can potentially get 2 ingots worth of iron fragments from a single load. In fact, you tend to have trouble keeping up with the supply of stones, which isn't a bad thing. Getting the brick furnaces, (I usually go for 2 to begin with, and add an additional one later, once the iron is flowing along nicely), is then a consideration in order to really ramp up production. Getting a couple of mineral extractors on the go, so you can mine copper and aluminium is the next big step along that particular path of progression. Getting a few tech pages early on, is also essential to get things going. Ingot shelves are useful for storing ingots in! 😉 You can see how many there are available, for one thing. Roosters don't drop eggs, unsurprisingly. It's easy to get a bit confused in regard to ingots and fragments. Generally, things you need to make require ingots, with only the shield and the reinforced spike traps needing fragments. It's an easy mistake to make. At least with all the iron ingots you have, you can put them toward the brick furnaces, once you get the tech for it. Clay to make the bricks is the other consideration, of course. Having drying racks does require a bit of space, though, if you're going to do them in any number. 3 racks is enough to get the 50 bricks required to make one furnace. Mineral extractors require a fair bit of iron, also. I've never seen the technique of using a ladder to line up foundations. I usually connect blueprints from existing foundations to line them up, and then delete all the ones I don't need. It's more uniform and very useful for if and when you expand your base's footprint and getting them to fit exactly.

You can put a storage box under the butcher table. Great for hides and bones.

If you look along the northeast coast there's a similar formation with a more narrow entrance that opens into a large area with grass so it may spawn fruits. It's more remote so harder to get to and slower to progress, but easier to survive if you play perma death.

This is a really unique looking start of a base. I've seen something like it, but never start to finish. Looking forward to seeing how this shapes up! Fun Video! RIBBIT!

I'd recommend getting yourself some high level beta mammoth, cause you'll need A LOT of Beta materials if you wanna craft capped saddles for your beta dinos, which I highly recommend aswell ^^ The void theri will help you quite a lot to gather those resources from those beta mammoth and even hide from ovis overall.
