@sepe18372 күн бұрын
Can I do this without taking the engine off the bike?
@FullSpeedImpulseКүн бұрын
I don’t think so. It’s super easy to take the motor out and allows you to work on the motor easily on the work bench.
@sepe1837Күн бұрын
@ the black part on the case moves when I pull the clutch in but when my bikes in gear and I hold the clutch in it doesn’t roll. Have u ever ran into this problem
@FullSpeedImpulseКүн бұрын
You’re going to have to pull the cover and make sure nothing is broken and assume that it’s just a burnt up clutch. Try adjusting your lever cable out and see if you get any more clutch. Good luck!!!!

Sorry I don’t. I buy those bolt kits off of Amazon which are awesome for when you’re doing a build or on a dirtbike trip.

Happy New Year! I reciently acquired a heavily used ‘82 Honda XR500R that came to me without any carburetor. My question, Where can I purchase a quality carburetor that will perform well on my bike. I live in Tucson, AZ in winters, and outside of Albuquerque NM in summers. Altitude in Tucson at my home is 2620 and at my home in NM is 7077’. I am age 78, and my weight is 170 pounds. I appreciate your video on You Tube!

Did the air box spark arester ever give you problems at all
@FullSpeedImpulse8 күн бұрын
Nope. Running great. It’s a pretty standard upgrade in a lot of your pitbikes. Take in consideration that none of your big bikes have this in the airbox. Idk why they put them in the small bikes.

Sooo this video has been getting beat up in the comments and I just want to say at the time we were making more vlog videos then how to. I realize things were not done right in this video and since then we have focused our attention on how to videos. That being said I will doing a new video on this process showing everyone the correct way on how to adjust their valves on a crf50. Thanks for watching still and make sure to check out some of our other builds that we get way more in depth with.

I have a customer's 2004 yfz450 here in the shop. The complaint is that it crackles and backfires on deceleration. The customer did a bunch of mods and I wanted your opinion on jetting. He put a 480 big bore kit with a cp carillo piston 13.75:1 compression, ported head by Mmad, Plus 1 valves, 943 web cams, an fci intake and empire exhaust. The carburetor is stock. Do you have any recommendations on a good starting point in terms of jet sizes? I am assuming, considering all of the mods, that jetting is needed here? Thanks, Jeff

I got an 86’ XR100, grew up riding it, it’s been through many different riders but still runs pretty damn good considering how old it is. After watching Carson Brown shred the shit outta his XRs, been wanting to upgrade my bike so I’ve been binging your XR upgrades, it’s been good stuff, only question is how does the suspension feel now with the different oil and the stock spring and BBR spring?
@FullSpeedImpulse17 күн бұрын
Definitely better and doesn’t feel like a pogo stick. I am going to lower the front end between 1/4 and 1/2 inch and see if that helps. Right now it feels a little high and raked out with the forks fully extended out with bbr triple clamp system. The XR doesn’t have the suspension feel of our Klx140 but that power it puts out is awesome! And yea Carson brown is awesome and will have ya convinced you could take a moped off-roading 😂
@jeremiahsjourney427017 күн бұрын
@ thank you for getting back to me, glad the modifications are working out for you. I’ll definitely keep that in mind when I get around to pulling the trigger on the upgrades. And based on how Carson Brown rides, pretty sure he could jump a Roomba if he wanted to

Just be careful with the quality of the jba headers and make sure they don’t have any pin holes on any of their welded areas before installing. That’s what happen to us and ended up going back to stock.

@@FullSpeedImpulse Appreciate it, maybe ill give the Gibson's a shot instead.
Cutting oil will greatly extend the useful life of your drill bits and hole saws. In some cases a donut shaped clay ring around the drill area will contain water or water soluble oil to cool the cutting bits.
