What size needle did you use? I’ve tried 1” and 1/2” needles in the quads and I much prefer 1/2” because if I use a 1” my whole leg feels super sore the next day. I mainly inject in my glutes and shoulders to avoid soreness but quads are definitely an easy area to inject, just not a fan of how I feel when using a 1” needle.

Taking Prop EOD.. would you recommend EOD HCG on same or opposite day of prop or would every 3rd day be sufficient.. around 700 per week no matter what frequency I choose.

Great video Mike. It’s about time proper injections techniques where shown on the channel and from personal experience like yourself of years of TRT treatment. But I know it is a fine line on KZbin but with yourself there is a medical need. Love the quads. I'm in my 40s, overweight, chronically fatigued. Recently had my testosterone level checked. I'm at 319. Testing again in 3 weeks, and if still in the same range, I'll be seeing a urologist for trt. Are injections better than creams? I'm just so tired of feeling like crap all the time. Will trt help? I had a milk allergy as a baby and was feed a soy-based formula. Could this have caused low testosterone?

Currently, I am on Hcg and Enclomophine, but it hasn't fixed my libido issue so I'm think trt will be the next step. If I could use a little needle like the one I use for hcg in my stomach that would be great cause I'm already used to it

I find traps to be the least problematic spot for me. Zero issues so far and I inject every day.

Great video! I've gone from SubQ, IM in the glutes & gluteus medius but I much prefer the quad. Fortunately I've lost enough fat I can use a 1/2in 27Ga insulin needle and avoid my veins as I can see them now. Much easier and less stressful. Still can't dart my leg though😅just one psychological hurdle I can't surmount.

You might in the future describe better the whole one needle for draw and one needle for injection. Show that you take off the 18 gauge and - not sure as it is not shown - and replace it with what I think by the blue color might be a 23 gauge - which is less painful. A 18 gauge for the actual testosterone injection is not needed and you do not mention the gauge of the injection needle. Either at 2:25 when you refer to the second needle but don't descibe and also at 5:54 when you refer to it and also don't show it being put on. Otherwise it is a fine video but I do think that is a key ommission.

Once the needle is inserted into the chosen site, Aspiration is a good idea to ensure you are injecting into a muscle. Pulling back the plunger and finding either nothing or an air bubble at the needle end of the syringe confirms that you have inserted into a Muscle. If you see blood, stop, remove the syringe and needle, and start again, choosing a slightly different site.
