@@MrSmudgeFace it was mentioned in the previous match that also featured this deck. It’s mainly about having an answer against “the deck” as that is arguably the hardest matchup for midrange decks like this. The answer could be more books. It’s the same I’ve been exploring with my own midrange deck lately at it seems to provide a better game against “the deck” :)

Game 1, I think he missed the 4 life from swords on the snake, not sure it would have mattered

Ah Its because he gains the 4 life and then immediately after looses 4 life once the triskelion attacks. So the life equals out and he didn’t bother to take the 4 life and remove them again - and then he takes 1 point from the dreams which is why he changes the dice right afterwards again :)

"the answer" cheating like crazy : start of g1 : tapping mox ruby + badlands & mishra"s F to cast a hyp (where's the 2nd black mana ?) keeping untapped the city of brass that was needed for the 2nd B and then use it to produce W to disenchant a blood moon during his opponent turn ... LOL

Indeed. A crucial thing. I dont believe it was on purpose though as I’ve played with him in several tournaments without issue. But hot damn one needs to be watchful. It doesn’t take much to influence the games outcome a lot.

Right you are! And this time after the geyser. Reliable like clockwork these mistakes. As mentioned in the first comment I think its especially after draw 7’s or big geysers these extra land drops happen. God reason to be extra alert in those situations. Thanks for the heads up Tayler!

Nice catch! Right you are. Scrubland before the time twister and volcanic before the mind twist. I think It’s usually in these draw-7 or braingeyser situations that this stuff can happen and neither player will realize it.

@@Ostenkaer Nope the commentary was throughout the match. dang it must be that technical hick up I mentioned - though according to the program it would only be the music missing? Hmm I wish the latest and corrected version could upload but it stalls each time I attempt it.

At 16:18 you take 3 damage from the 2 pixies and the pendelhaven but you only take away a D1 and turn a D5 to a D4 changing your life total from 11 to 9… but you should be on 8 from that point on I believe.

Game one the player on the left looses because he did know that he could simply just activate his factories with all the unspent mana. Furthermore I don’t see the player on the right taking his damages from them?

Its from an old game called “Last Ninja 2” - from the level “the sewers”. This particular version is a Modern remaster of that Old commodor 64/DoS game.

I feel you! I remember it as a bit painful to get through as well. 🫣 But once I realized it - it was too late to stop lol On the other hand I guess it’s allright to have some games on the channel featuring more inexperienced players as well 😅
