TBH I'm glad it's no longer a thing. With all the ridiculous things in this game now, the last thing I need is for Flashbangs to be viable again. I'd rather have the old Slug meta back than endure Flashbangs being good. Last time they were I spent half my fights flashbanged for eons. People carrying like 2-3 at a time just nonstop flashbangs. 6 star was practically who gets flashed and pushed first.

Bomb launcher has been super fun to use, and the re-usable harpoons that it gets as well as the lance make it even more of a blast.
