Thanks for sharing this. Really appreciate your time an effort capturing it on video!!! What was the reason you needed to replace the trailing arms? The bushings all looked good and the actual arm was not bent or anything?
@mrfixit421116 күн бұрын
The bushing were not bad, but I have replaced all the front suspension bushings and wanted the rears to be updated as well. The arms had surface rust, but nothing major. The new urethane bushing are a nice upgrade.

For the record, in addition with the Copy By OBD feature with the Autel TS508, the 2015 Kia K900, like most Kias, is also capable of Automatic Relearn. I tried to do a TPMS relearn by OBD on a Kia Cadenza, but the tool said "Network Connection Required" and OBD relearn procedure didn't go through without Internet access. For that reason, I bought myself an Autel iTS600.
@mrfixit421116 күн бұрын
I did not have that warning and the 508 did a great job. I have considered purchasing the new 600 but have not need to yet.

That's the Honda GX35 engine which is what my dads UMK435 line trimmer has fitted & I removed the return line & purged out the carburettor which seems to have fixed the problem but I will know more tomorrow with a cold start. I fitted a new Chonda piston & ring set into it,I also honed the cylinder which was a bit scratched but it still blows smoke on a cold start but I rev it out then it won't burn oil. But I will leave the throttle closed at idle & after 30 seconds the engine begins to emit blue smoke out of the muffler & if I rev it a bit as a cloud of blue smoke will blow out of the muffler but if I leave it at full throttle it won't burn oil until I close the throttle then idle it a bit then it will begin to burn oil. I am planning on replacing the valve stem oil seal on the inlet valve which is as old as the engine (21 years old & it has done a lot of work) but if that doesn't work due to a worn out valve guide or for whatever reason I will just buy one of those Chonda cylinder repair kits & build a new engine for it. The reason that I thought that it was the rings is because my dad ran it low on oil & it began to blow smoke like it does now so I was suspecting engine damage as being the cause of the engine burning more oil than it did before !
@mrfixit4211Ай бұрын
Yes, I have noticed that it is a Honda engine. Hope the Chonda upper set fixes your issue. It has been a very unit for me thus far no more issues since this repair.

Yep... Your problem is exactly mine... I still have all the original parts on. The rubber elbows are the weak points on this hose(years of heat damage). Got that problem here now(causing higher than normal idle speed code P0705) on mine on the passenger side. Gonna replace the hole hose and valve together. Yep, if you wiggle the hose on the passenger side you can hear a very loud air leak. LOL. Thanks for the vid!!

Interestingly, they do not sell just the elbow by itself. But at least the assembly is pretty reasonable at the dealer.

so, if I burn off the motor, it is most likely once replacing the fuse, it would start to work again?

I just cruised on the Ovation, and when booking it, the RCCL booking agent told me that the Quantum class ships have the MOST obstructed view staterooms in the whole RCCL fleet, and that's why they offer such low fares for a balcony - especially as the sail date nears and they haven't filled enough rooms yet. We paid a little more and got a better balcony on deck 9, but there were still lifeboats below us partially blocking the hull to the waterline view. I've never encountered that view situation (lifeboats) as much on any other RCCL ship.
@mrfixit42114 ай бұрын
Yes, it seems that decks 6&7 have it the worst. But since they have obstructions the cost is less.
@biknjak4 ай бұрын
I think the issue is the ship's construction. Most ships have balcony decks that come pretty much straight up from the waterline. The lifeboats are usually on deck 4 or 5 or so, and are under the balcony decks, so you have a fairly clear view from looking down over your balcony clear to the waterline below. The Quantum class ships' balcony decks (6 and up) are inset several feet from the outside of the ship's hull, so even if you're in an upper deck (we were on 9) you still see deck 5 and lifeboats when you look straight down. It was the first time I had ever sailed on a "Quantum" ship and it was VERY different than other RCCL ships. Even more so than Oasis ships are different than Voyager/Freedom ships. The view outward was great and the staterooms were awesome. They actually had a ton more storage than most other rooms we've had, and the cabinets above the bed were a brilliant idea!😎👍
