I work in broadcasting and need to get some on the fly deadlines hit from home sometimes but I also record music vocals. Is this the go-to mic for all that?

WOOOOOWWWW I've come to check the sound of EV RE20 but then I'm shocked of how beautiful is this guys voice. Song is very nice also. I searched the original version. Jeffrey sings 1000 times better than the original. Amazing. RE20 also amazing but I'd prefer just bit more high ends for this microphone.

It’s a proper workhorse. I’ve had a sontronics mercury tube mic since 2018, I find the R20 just better, easier to fit in a mix, I pretty much use the R20 on everything. Guitar cabs, acoustic, vocals, it’s even my gaming mic. I have it in Black :)

What is gain the you had on this mic can you make video with you settings

did the cloud lifter really help with the re20? I know with the sm7b people use the cloud lifter all the time but with the re 20 not as much.

I recently bought RE 20, which was made in Burnville, Minnesota. Than I watched some reviews and found out that on the most of the microphone it is written Variable-D and dynamic cardioid and on my microphone there is nothing. I would like to know if there is any difference between the microphones with the writing and without. Is my microphone old or new made? I am not sure if there are going to be any difference with the sound quality of the microphone. Thank you very much for your time.
