I am trying to think if that .07 lat is not good enough for church live stream.
@neilfullframe19 сағат бұрын
I believe so. It doesn’t lack much in delay. If you use an ATEM mini I would just set the audio delay by 1-3 frames or what’s needed and that should do the trick to sync up.

how do these compare to the smallrig 99 v mou nt ? these seem like a great deal. I got one of hte smaller blue ones and that powers my monitor for id guess about 2 hrs or so
@neilfullframe2 күн бұрын
The 99WH V mount will definitely last longer than two of these. Also really depends on what you’re running on the batteries. I actually just did a review on the Smallrig VB99SE and it’s basically the price ($149) of two of these NPF batteries. I would say bang for buck if you can go V mount and use a Smallrig v mount plate. My latest video is on the VB99SE. I appreciate you stopping by.

The weight now makes it impossible to use a handheld gimbal, so how do you stay stable while shooting video?
@neilfullframe10 күн бұрын
The weight alone of the camera should provide for more stable movements. In addition the high IBIS setting on the S5II/X can virtually render gimbals as non necessary. Just my opinion

Another question I have! I was checking the compatibility list on the Atomos site and saw that Blackmagic Cameras aren't listed as supported for using the monitor as a recorder. Do you know if the shogun (the one you have) works with Blackmagic cameras? I remember there being some beef between Atomos and Blackmagic in like 2018 or 19.
@neilfullframe13 күн бұрын
Great question and it works with the blackmagic but BM cameras only output 1080P to the monitor and no other functions are available such as choosing what codec you’d like to input on the Shogun/Ultra. So in short, I wouldn’t say this is the best monitor/recorder to get for BM cameras. I would suggest a Portkeys monitor if you don’t need the recording capability. Also with the Portkeys LH7P and BM III SERIES you can control BlackMagic cameras features.
@Aaron_Smith_OM12 күн бұрын
@@neilfullframe Understood. Thank you for your help with all of my questions. It's a great monitor, but I might have to pass on it for either the Video Assist 12G, or SmallHD 702. Great content and thanks again!

@neilfullframe13 күн бұрын
I do agree, the firmware and token downloads can be a pain and quite tedious, at first try. But once I figured out the steps it was easy. But yes it can be a bit aggravating to figure it out.

I don't think it's dead. I just think we had a surge the past couple of years and now it's leveling back off. And introducing a new vendor into the mix. At the end of the day Pele still want these moments captured in high quality

Cool. So, the site says it transmits at only 1080 (not that it matters to most anyway).
@neilfullframeКүн бұрын
Yeah which is weird because they specifically told me it transmits 4K. Which with my Sony FX30 it did send 4K to my external monitor (Atomos Ninja V) recognized the input as 4K. But with my Sony A7IV it would not transmit the 4K output signal. Even though both camera settings HDMI output was set to 4K. I appreciate you checking out the video.

I really wonder why the back is so big bulky, at the beginning i thought that's a vmount battery....but its just a electronic contact i.e dtab . This would have been really useful if the big back is a battery back . Till now in the camera rig product, the small rig foldable v mount is the most practical light run and gun set-up,with vb 99 battery.
@Aaron_Smith_OM25 күн бұрын
Great information! But I wanted to make sure I'm getting this right. The only thing turning me off from getting this monitor is the required SSD from Angelbird. BUT, can you use other drives that cost less? I mainly needed it for updating the monitor, but if I can go with another, cheaper SSD then I'm sold. Especially since this monitor has all the flavors of anamorphic de-squeeze, onion-skin (image overlay for matching shots), and EL zone along with False Color. I went on the Atomos site, but it's also comforting to confirm with an actual user. OCD got me triple checking before I push the button. lol. Great content again by the way. And thank you!
@neilfullframe25 күн бұрын
Oh yes you can definitely use different SSDs. I use the Sandisk SATA SSD and never have had an issue. They’re like $70 on Amazon for 1TB. Just install the SSD into the provided caddy with the unit, format it and you’re good to go! Thanks for checking out the video.

I was just wondering because, I saw a YT video of somebody else also building the same rig for the same camera, and they might have used a few different items / cables, and they reported a fan coming on, and some sort of buzz. Great advice. We're a very new (and tiny) company, and we receive more than 20 requests from content creators per DAY! This is even after our IG bio literally says "Please don't ask us about collabs - if we like your content, we'll ask you! :)". Some come across with "Send me your product and I'll make it go viral". Nothing else and no background on the channel or creator, themselves - no proposition at all. We delete these, no matter how many subscribers they have. We can't answer every single one and we don't have marketing staff to filter these. It has to cut through for us. It's not even about how many subscribers they have. We're looking for the abillity of the creator to read past the marketing material and see the actual value and difference in our product in their eyes, combined with high quality delivery on their content. We want to see that they've actually looked into the product and understand it, before they contacted us. We also look at engagement/comments, and how the creator responds to questions from their viewers. We just want to ensure they have the same committment to their viewers as we do to our customers - then it shows our brand values align. Win-win. Great content Neil.
