saw this in your wedding video and thought you had a broadcast camera! Literally transforms the look of the whole setup!

Yes sir, does give it that look especially with the wireless video transmission unit. It looks big but it really isn’t. I love it!

Hotshoe for audio is no longer a requirement in my opinion. Just received the Tascam FR-AV2, better than the DMW-XLR1 in that it's 32-bit float with timecode!

I completely agree ! I always use external audio sources for capturing. Thanks a bunch for checking out the video.

I definitely dig it !

I really wonder why the back is so big bulky, at the beginning i thought that's a vmount battery....but its just a electronic contact i.e dtab . This would have been really useful if the big back is a battery back . Till now in the camera rig product, the small rig foldable v mount is the most practical light run and gun set-up,with vb 99 battery.

Intresting. Yeah xlr module needs a wired connection hotshoe to hotshoe adapter .

I believe they’re working on a solution or adapter for this. I appreciate you stopping by. Cheers

Ridgid Pro looks amazing, but ~$300 for a custom aluminum chunk with d-tap break out? I'd be willing to drop at most $199, get serious Ridgid. Add PD USB-C to it as well and I'll purchase at that price, otherwise discount it a $100.
@neilfullframe3 ай бұрын
It is a new product and I’m sure they’ll listen to consumers to add more use ability and features in the next version. Just a guess but I would assume they would.
@neilfullframe3 ай бұрын
But to be fair most v mounts have USB-C PD anyhow. Me personally I appreciate more D-Tap ports as they can be converted to a number of other ports/connections.

Fair comment. In our defence, the price is not just plucked out of thin air though. By the time we spreadsheet all the components' cost, add the time in for labour, factor in the DHL express worldwide shipping, having to buy components in the thousands to keep the price down (while also then having substantial money tied up in all that) the price is worked out for us. We joke that we're probably not even meeting minimum wage! We're not a big team or even have a factory. This is a husband and wife team making small batches on our kitchen bench. Our kids are learning about small business. But that's OK because we're having fun.

@@RigidPRO appreciate the reply. That does sound like a good reason for the price. The fast but thorough answer is also a great sign of good communications. That’s a definite plus!

@@RigidPRO That is a great reason and it is awesome to see a company being open as to why there pricing is the way it is!

Whats the weight?
@neilfullframeАй бұрын
Depends on what you have on the entire rig. Monitor, V mount etc. The weight of the CineRig itself isn’t heavy at all.

small issue. this is foto camera
@neilfullframe2 ай бұрын
Yes it can do photos of course, but it’s more video centric of a camera.
