How do people who work in the environment business get away with talking to people like that?

I still watch it on ROKU. It is a good, clean and funny show. They were all great actors and actresses. I recently watched a movie starring Jay North called "The Teacher" from 1974. I thought he was a great actor in that movie as well.

How come the staff of the show get away with doing what they did. It's so unprofessional.

Once it starts perking; How long do you let it perk for before you remove the percolator from the heat and let it set? ( I've let it perk for 8 minutes or so before I remove it from the heat... So far; So Good? Or should I go for 9 minutes?? ....Help!!)

I have the 9 cup, same design as you. I love mine and would not get anything else. I tried just about anything else on the market. This is by far the best coffee, fresh ground coffee, table spoon per cup, low burner, wait...best routine in the morning.

I just got one of these at an estate sale , I've never used a glass one before, thanks for the help! Also mine came with a little metal wire shaped like a flower, the older women who worked the sale said I need to use it on my burner to prevent the pot from breaking

Ive been using this pot for awhile now,, BUT all of a sudden the pump , pumps the water but it doesnt get the coffee grounds wet. I know is sounds impossible. The very center of the coffee is all that gets wet. i simmer it for 7 min. and when i take the lid off the pump the coffee is 95% dry. HELP :<(

I bought that glass pot at goodwill the other day but it's not a percolator.....it's only half as tall. But the piece I have is identical w the silver band @ the center. It's a pyrex too. Perhaps it's a pot to use just to dispense the coffee after you percolate it.

I should have watched this video a year ago. I've been brewing the pot on boil for 7 min. instead of turning it down and letting it simmer. No wonder the coffee always tasted burnt. Thanks for the tip.

Ive been making my ground coffee by boiling water in m y cup , in microwave, then adding the grounds, not instant, then stirring briskly, then reboil just to when it foams up in the micro, about 16 seconds, then stirrin g briskly again, tastes awesome!! But I love perked coffee ! and cant wait to use mine

I found this Pyrex percolator packed with some camping equipment. Fond memories. I can't seem to find the top aluminum lid and I don't recall if there ever was one. Is that lid necessary? I would think so but as I said I don't remember there ever being one. Can't wait to try it in the morning.

I just brought up my dad moms old Corning ware pot. I remember them using it when my aunt and uncle came over to play cards. I would be the designated waitress. What I can’t remember is how much coffee to use. I don’t want a bitter coffee but a smooth cup of coffee like they used to do.
