Shao Kahn went for it all in MK3 and in storyline he should have succeeded. Once you play as Shao Kahn in Trilogy you fully understand that no one can match him

Interesting review 🤔 oddly enough I had no experience with these “ jank mechanics “ however I’ll definitely admit the games not for everyone. I do feel the game is more enjoyable if you understand the language though, as a fair amount of the translations were not exactly correct to what was actually being said.

I have to ask because mk 11 was my first mk game that i played and i now have played mk X, mk 11 and mk 1 through. But how the hell are there so many DC characters in every mortal kombat game fight scene that are seen when you talk about each fighter ??? I thought there were only Mortal kombat x DC Universe (i own it on ps3, that i still have.) and injustice 1 & 2 So are these fight scenes taken out from those 3 games when we see people like deathstroke, superman, Darkseid and others ? Like are they inbeded in the story mode for some mortal kombat game, that has nothing to do with DC ?

Kung Jin part was like my favorite character to play in story mode.

I feel like with all the new realms(order, chaos, and a vampire realm that nitara was trying to restore) they should've gone a different route with Armageddon. Start with a timeskip and have the new generation of combatants take up the mantle of defending earthrealm. Shujinko dies of old age. Liu kang is in edenia with Kitana after he was revived from his deception ending. Kung Lao and Kai helps train the new generation alongside sub zero. Chaos realm has pledged itself to the new and mysterious vampire king, who promised to bring chaos to all the realm. Just like they did to a leader less outworld. And have their actions end up destabilizing the realms and we get the build up for Armageddon. Then again that Armageddon intro was peak

For me this is one of the worst games from Supermassive. Period.

Man I hated this game. I always felt the dark pictures series were weaker than until dawn or the quarry, but I’d play any of those games over this. Maybe its lazy analysis but the tame was just boring. The game feels more like a scavenger hunt than a horror game. They tried wayyy too hard with the story. There was at no point during this game i felt scared or had fun in the slightest. Really disappointing stuff from supermassive and i will be hesitant to purchase their next game until i look at the reviews. I hope this is just a one off because until dawn and the quarry weren’t masterpieces but extremely fun and kept you on the edge of your seat the entire game.
