MKX was fire, another great fighting game from the franchise! How MK9, or simply Mortal Kombat (Reboot) gave us MK Trilogy vibes, MKX gave us MK4/Gold vibes, but with a twist. MKX definitely a great game, a major step up!

I grew up with MK Armageddon (on the wii) and MK 9, but since I was younger, I didn't get to enjoy them to their full potential. MKX came out when I was in high school, so I was truly hyped for it.

I agree, with Carnage’s movie debut, I was a bit disappointed with how little screen time the red Symbiote actually gets. And it just doesn’t feel right without Spider-Man in it 😄 still a good popcorn flick though

My first and favorite mortal kombat game

AMAZING video!! I always have MKX installed on my PC because I just love it so much. Can't get enough of it! (Even though I'm not the best player). ♥ It's so refined, mature looking, and polished!! There are very few things I'd change to make it PERFECT: - Improve some characters' faces. - Add beloved missing characters such as Skarlet, Jade, and Frost. - Fix commands, so the RUN function has a dedicated button. For instance: LT+forward is RUN, LT+back is FLIP STANCE (even though it's a useless function), RT is BLOCK, LB is THROW, and RB is STAGE INTERACTION (LT+RT would still be X-RAY). This way, A+X and B+Y would be free of commands and you wouldn't be triggering a throw or stage interaction for mistake when trying combos. - More classic inspired costumes for some characters! (Tanya never got one!) - And I can't really remember or think about anything else Id change (maybe give more camera to the classic characters in story mode, but that is a matter of tastes...) MKX is the biggest 9/10 I'd ever give to a fighting game and is the BEST MK game to date!! It has the perfect amount of content: Not little by any means, but not bloated and stressful as MK11. It's just way better organized and presented than any other MK game as well, no doubt about it. I really wish they kept improving on its format and formula for later games instead of changing and breaking things... 😞

In MK11 and now I hate guest characters but in MKX my favourite character was the Tarkatan Xenomorph as it just really suited the game. For someone who hates guest characters because they take up space that other Mortal Kombat characters could have it’s really hypocritical of me to love the Tarkatan version of the Xenomorph

watching this made me so nostalgic because at the time this game came out I was 15 and remember preordering the ps3 version with the little money I had saved over the year from my lunch money, only to have GameStop cancel my preorder since the ps3 version got cancelled, I still have my receipt from that day lol. This game was also the one to make me get a job and buy a ps4. funny enough mk9 was also my first ps3 game when I first acquired one in 2013.

There is a way to play as a base form of your character without any of the annoying glowing stuff on their bodies; think you have to hold start or something while choosing them but it could be another method.

MKX... I got mixed feelings about this one Gameplay wise, it's one of the best in the series. Story wise I feel like it's one of the worst in the series But maybe it's just me As I was envisioning a full Adaptation of MK4. Similar to what they did with the original. Trilogy In MK9. The way it ended set it up so nice Then we got this mess The story isn't horrible but I would have preferred a retailing Then a soft reboot Some of the new characters are cool though I actually enjoyed D'Vorah She was a bit OP. But as a character concept She's great compared to MK9 I f this game lacks content This game isn't the worst in the series but Not top five Still a solid entry But I was expecting better Great video though

Mileenas face redesign is the best thing about MKX, i was sad to see when they went back to the classic look in MK11. Other than that i find MKX to be the ugliest MK game ever made, i absolutely hate the brown gray super desaturated look of the game, the character models vary from alright to hideous, and the costume designs, apart from a few, are pretty bad. The story is the beginning of the downfall of MK lore to me, i absolutely hate the Earthrealm military focus, and most of the new characters introduced, and classic characters destroyed. A trend that MK11 continues. MKX is fortunate to have great gameplay, but for me that is just not enough if i hate to look at the game. Great video, thank you for doing this.

I honestly hate this one more than 9. Mostly due to it dropping me in the middle of a story of which I had to read a comic book before playing. I never knew about the comic. That's how gawdawful they are at promoting their "story" material. That and the story is just bad, and it retained the same awful broken gameplay of 9. Just my thoughts.

This is my favorite MK story mode, by far. 9 was fine, though I feel it rushed too fast through all three games, not exploring some bits, particularly the 3rd game's part, and some designs I thought were questionable (also I really missed 3's city aesthetics). 11 was a step up in production values but story-wise........eh...... As soon as you introduce time travel I stop caring.

I didn’t want to go into all of them as I thought it would bloat the video and make it too long. My original plan was to leave the variations out of the character section, but I brought up the fighting styles of the 3D era so it only seemed fitting to do the same for the variations.
