If the opening according to the novel, Becky and Amelia departed from the school, it would be easily for the audience going into the story.

I'm not Irish but this song gave me chills when I discovered it. Her voice is so melodic and haunting, it has an ethereal and folklore feeling in it! And the lyrics are so so good. I could see an old lady singing it down by the river in the medieval times. So so good

I love Cabaret but with each new performance and rendition of the emcee, begins to take on the feeling of a remake that has been victmized by the sins of overproduction, with little to offer in the way of the unexpected and/or original.
@jamsguitars248 ай бұрын
The addition of the dunce cap since the 2020 revival is is nice aesthetically but also makes the carelessness and naivety of the emcee too obvious, which I think should be left to be deciphered by the observer as the production unfolds. Is nothing left to be implied any more? Lol 😂

In 2015, Jake Shears played Greta in a revival of "Bent" in Los Angeles. (This is the complicated role of a drag cabaret star who turns in his club's clientele to the Nazis; played by Mick Jagger in the film version). Shears was terrific, and I wondered at the time why he wasn't doing more theatre. Of course, Emcee in Cabaret is a similar (if more prominent) role, and I can't imagine anyone better for the role. I hope he tours it back to the states.

Ive always felt that Michael Palins speaking part would work well over the Fargo theme as well. If it had some slight modifications to it of course and there was a british version of Fargo.

I did enjoy the series very good acting . Wonderful production. But as for copies of. All along the watch tower . I am sorry I would have to say that this is good, but not a spot on the Jimi Hendrix copy or the copy created for Battle Star Galactica by Bear Mc Creary.
