I first saw John when he supported John Martyn, I’ve been a fan of his ever since.

Great musician! His latest album 'Headlong' is a pleasure to listen to and, of course, he is well worth seeing play live!

John Smith is my number one. First track sounds like a John Martyn tribute.

Likely as they toured together. Beautiful song, and sounds so simple and understated.

Discovered John through the goddess that is Lisa Hannigan , How he is not an international superstar selling albums by the million is a mystery to me . however the upside is I get to go see him live in Dolan's Limerick city on a regular basis. legend.

As a life-time guitarist and performer, I have become lazy in researching/getting to know other guitarists. Thanks to Roger Bucknall of Fylde Guitars, I linked through to this video and I am very pleased that I did. I love the way this guy plays. Good melodies, beautifully played with just the right amount of rhythmic intricacy to be challenging. Why no comments before this one. Thank you John. Frank McConnell
