HOLY MOLY, I got a gold medal! 😂😂😂 Thank you so much to all of you who posted training videos and tutorials on KZbin. I couldn't have done it without your precious help. Thank you to my spotter, who kept saying, ‘Green green green! In the middle, 3-wide. You've got the meatball flag!’ which I later learned was code for ‘Take it easy, buddy.’ Thank you to my family. My mother, who provided a very cosy basement for me to race from. ’ Thanks, Mom! I'll get out of the house by the end of this year, I promise.' Thank you to my co-racers, who are all absolutely incredible drivers - seriously, it’s a miracle any of you could make it on this list, you crazy maniacs! And finally, thank you to iRacing. No matter what Assetto Corsa fanboys might say, you are still #1! Even though we had to wait a LITTLE while for the rain update, it's pretty awesome!

Wow New Zealand a great motorsport country irl, being one of our national sports. Just this year, having drivers all around the world and not just competing but winning races in various series like WEC, Indycars, Nascar, Formula E, aussie supercars, GB3 etc etc but we suck in the virtual world. What could it be? ping? Or we just suck i think.
@DC_F15 күн бұрын
Ping is definitely a factor! I tried a race recently with a lot of AU NZ drivers and cars were bouncing around - I lasted 1 lap and lost over 100 iRating in that race

Id love to see a video on average incident points per race by country
@DC_F15 күн бұрын
Nice idea! With average incident points per race it can be warped a lot by length of races - an average incident points per lap would be perhaps more interesting but that's very similar to safety rating anyway. Hey, maybe average safety rating per country might be good, then!

Very interesting stuff. One thing that seems obvious here is that the average income of the country plays a huge role. In addition to the equipment and network infrastructure, I feel like the cost of iRacing plays a huge role. Especially for younger drivers who have the time but not the money are forced to go for cheaper sims pulling their average country rating down in iRacing.

@DC_F19 күн бұрын
A great question! Much like Réunion is a French territory and considered a different country, Gibraltar's status as a distinct country differs between different organisations, such as the UN. Crucially, it's iRacing's own recognition we are looking at with this data, which separates Gibraltar from other parts of Britain. If you export the data, you'll also see some unexpected nations, such as Antarctica with one active driver! Thanks for watching, and for the great comment!

Here I share some more data, more than 100,000 active accounts, 15,000 daily average players per day, much more than 1 million profits per month only in subscriptions and it is the oldest simulator on the market, with the worst tire model on the market, graphics from more than 10 years ago and acceptable physics but far from being a reference... iRacing monopoly, invest in your game, instead of releasing content, create a new physics engine, new tire model, new graphics engine and stop publishing patches and improving textures. Very interesting video, nice job!
