1:45 & 5:21 I noticed that you pronounce the 'th' in the words "gáetha" & "tretham" with a θ sound like the English 'th' in thin, thank etc. Was this sound then present in early Irish?

Hmm. It's actually quite evocative... I was also made curious by the phrasing " der graine" ... Isn't that also the name and translation " tear of the sun" / Degraine. Of the sad mythical story of the daughter of the ( Fairy ..?) Sea King.. ( . ? " Macalian Mac Lia. ? Sorry I have nearly no Irish language, let alone spelling.. ..). As a name, I find it incredibly beautiful....

When your headed to the Other world sometimes it feels like your sinking , see waves coming over your eyes, then flash, your there in the water. Other times your just there in the water. Once your in the water it's wonderful.

Our world coming to a end is a good thing. Look around. Money and it's evil has put Humanity in a state of slavery, and torture. "Capitalism or The Mafia they are one and the same Humanity has them to blame. To remove Humanity from all the pain Extinction will end this evil game! Death and life are one and the same." We have nothing to fear except fear itself. FDR

Any recollection of The Blue Pool Melts away all fear. Death is exhilarating after you have been through a few times. 1900 years in paradise. How do you threaten someone with that . The Freedom experienced with much joy . Truly there is nothing to fear , not even a Roman spear.

The world of joy and happiness. I have been there. Will return as soon as my work here is done.The first thing you realize is your in a brilliant blue lagoon. I know we are told pool, That's not quite right. The sky is clear, the water is just a perfect temperature. You have this unbound feeling of freedom that words can't even describe, However if its not time yet a hand comes from no where , pushes your head under the water and you wind up back among Humanity again wishing not to be here. If there are other people there to help you out of the water count on 1900 years of joy and bliss. So tell me now , do you understand why we don't fear death as much as disappointment. How do you fear the BEAUTIFUL?

I am a Druid, I have been since the first century. I died at the Isle of Mother in 57 AD I hear from The Earth Mother Dannu often This planet isn't happy. Humanity is destroying itself. I don't remember much from the Otherworld Except for the Blue Pool that brought me back here. You can think me mad if you choose, but this is real.

Do you know Rilkes Ich lebe mein Leben? ich lebe mein Leben in wachsenden Ringen die sich über die Dinge ziehen ich werde den letzten vielleicht nicht vollbringen aber versuchen will ich ihn ich kreise um Gott um den uralten Turm und ich kreise jahrtausendelang und ich weiß noch nicht bin ich ein Falke, ein Sturm; oder ein großer Gesang That would be nice to see in Irish, be it ancient or contemporary. Anyone out there who wants to have a go? Tá grá(dh?) agam oraibh, Ralph

I suspect the middle line means “I am the 7-pointed stag.” A stag with 7 points on his antlers has got to be sacred, right? 7 lines seems to emphasize the importance of the number 7. I don’t speak Irish, but I wish I did 😭

I speak some Irish, you should learn… but I too am curious about the significance of seven. But I do my my own premonitions of the mysticism of it. Still curious.

The fourth line reads " I am a Stag of seven tines. " ( refering to antlers with seven points) My father taught me that poem.

That was exactly my thought! That seems to hold great significance.
@navigator54263 жыл бұрын
@@Firemind39 It does, the number 7 refers to worship of the Goddess and alludes to a certain amount of Authority. According to the Irish book of Invasions, the poet Amergin recited this poem in a ' Magical ' contest with the Tuatha De Danan for possesion of Ireland.

just the sound of the poem makes my heart sing... I wished I could speak irish fluently.. the sounds are very easy for me to pronounce, BUT reading it.. that is the difficulty.. I am born in a part of Germany that has absolute celtic ancestory.. I am from the area of the river Saar and in Blieskastel and Otzenhausen Stone Circle, one is able to visit our celtic sites... our german-french-dialect sounds absolutely the same as irish and I actually was scared half to death, when I was alone in our house in Dublin and the irish news where on the telly and I cleaning the dishes in the kitchen just listend to the beautifull sounds of the irish language.. and then, I nearly passed out, so scared was I cause the news-lady said something that we would say in our accent but means a total different thing.. Watt mach-schn loh... and it means it english, what the heck are ye doin there.. so me cleaning the dishes, no-one in the house got a bit "jumpy".. afterwards my room-mate and I laughed tears about it.. Thanks Tina.. your videos are so so so so good ... I wished I would still live in Ireland, I would book a class.. ;-) to learn irish.. ;-)

This video is very helpful, go raibh maith agat! I really appreciate how good your pronunciation is, especially your use of the rolled r’s (the actual way natives from all dialects pronounce Irish, and not with the retroflex r) and you pronouncing properly broad and slender consonants, maith thú!
