I have recently been letting my hens come out and free range in my backyard. Since recently some of them have been getting very attached to me. Following me around and running to me when they see me. It's quite adorable. One has been so attached to me that she even manages to get into the house bc she walks in with me and the dogs! So I looked into some videos not knowing if this is bad or good behavior (felt good). I am so happy to learn that this just means they love me. I did not know hens could be so loveable! Your chickens remind me of some of mine! I was worried bc they are trying to... well now I know it is sit on my lap! Tomorrow I will let them finally jump up on me! I don't think I would have ever imagined loving my chickens as much as I do ❤ thanks for your video!

Other tips: use the same food cup or colour for hand feeding. It helps them identify the food. Food... and keywords...are the key!

I wonder if you could keep the metal portion under the mattress on the lowest setting for a bit of airflow for the mattress to prevent moisture from accumulating.

Nope would not want a bed on the floor especially on carpet because the dust mites and dust leaving the legs on. It would not have made it too high for a child to get in and out of.

But wouldn’t they get off the bed and play on the carpet anyway?

Turn the roof tin correctly, a coon or coyote or fox would be under that so quick you would never know it. Bumps, dips and uneven yards would make it even easier.

Currently have one little chick I've had them about for 3 to 4 weeks one of my main concerns is if they become lonely. I usually have to go to school so I'm gone for the day but my brother is home but I'm worried that my brother's company is not enough. But thinking about getting a chicken cope eventually, whats the earliest I should consider getting more company for them if at all?
