DITL Crunchy Mom Ed - turning the garden over from winter (collards) to summer (onions) crops

After we moved to California, my mom used to order Sweet Vidalia onions. The GA based company told her to store them in pantyhose with knots tied between each onion so they don't touch. Then hang in cool, dry location. It definitely worked, they had onions all the time. DISCLAIMERS 1. Not sure if that suggestion is particular to an onion type or not. 2. Clearly a dated suggestion. Panty hose??? Wishing you great success on this new growing season. I was blown away by how much you grew/harvested last year. Very inspiring and empowering. All these videos make the gardening process look so easy.
