People love to say she didnt love Gatsby but she did. She loved him so much she was willing to wait for a nobody soldier instead of marrying rich. The choice was taken from her. Even in the end, Gatsby forces her to erase the years she had with Tom. Again, the choice is taken from her. She discovers he's part of a mafia, and when she wanted to run with him, he said no. Any girl would have second thoughts after that. People say that she abandoned him, but we don't know the story. She had a daughter. She couldn't be a criminal. Women were treated horribly and she knew that, she knew she had an advantage. So she tells Tom, because she can't trust anyone then, and Tom had been her partner for years. And even then, she waited for a call. Maybe she wondered if itd be less cruel to be rejected indirectly cause thats what i wondered too. So, she prefered to be a young and beautiful fool. I don't blame her. Tbh, I'd have chosen the same too. Not everyone is out there trying to defy the laws of society as they know it, some just try to live comfortably in it. Adapt. And if that's bad, then we are really in a bad route

To be frank, I liked the book’s depiction of Daisy’s breakdown better. The writing seemed more melancholic to me, but the effects and extra tidbits in the movie do add to it.

Those pearls are definitely not worth $350.000. Real High end pearl necklaces have knots between each pearl so they don't scatter like that. Daisy is not only a gold digger but also a stupid bitch, pick a struggle.

Jesus Christ died for our sins so the devil would not drag us to hell. Jesus tells us to profess with our tongue and believe in our hearts that He is Lord so we can make it to heaven; however, many of us have rejected Him and chose sin. pls come to Christ and reject the true evil: the devil. as long as you believe and walk in His ways, you will reach the Divine Kingdom. God bless you all🥰💞

Probably but they say he was 17 when he met diasy(I could be wrong) and apparently went to war Then again they say he was with the old fella for 5 yeas which would be 16-21 Idk man I'm quite confused

@@roastingtilldeath168he was 32 in the movie. Not saying that’s book accurate but that was the age he stated himself as. It makes him 27 when he met Daisy. So presumably he met the old man in the 1900s.

Say something positive about Daisy. I’ll start. 1. She did not hold to her husband’s views on race relations. 2. She was pretty...on the surface. 3. She had fabulous taste in clothes. 4. She loved her daughter Pamela and her cousin Nick.
