Making your own rub is so easy, a blind guy can do it. It’s true cause I am legally blind. Salt, pepper, garlic, paprika, smoked paprika, white pepper, sage, thyme, cumin, oregano, smoky mesquite seasoning, chipotle powder, cayenne, onion powder, brown sugar if desired.

@@m3rdpwr what ingredients do you add to the instant pot for the ribs? I’ve done pork tenderloin and pork chops in it, but not many other things. My pork chops turned out to be some of the best I’ve made, using that dry rub I listed (plus Mr. C’s grill seasoning , which you won’t be able to get your hands on because I got it on 4th of July 2023 from working at Carrabba’s. They had a bunch of extra unopened bottles of it and gave it out to employees and customers alike.) along with chicken broth, liquid smoke, Worcestershire sauce, and once finished, some onion and bbq sauce (which I made myself). I ask because I know the instant pot requires liquid.
@m3rdpwr
@m3rdpwr Ай бұрын
For liquid I use a combination of water and apple cider vinegar if I have it. For ribs, typically I use pink Himalayan salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. I will also add some other spices if I feel like it, like smoked paprika or cayenne pepper. In my mix for chicken, in addition to what I just mentioned, I will add white ground pepper, and some other seasonings. Basically I throw in the kitchen sink. LOL

When I went on the keto diet, foods became bland. I never liked spices, especially anything that was hot. A little pepper was as much as I could stand. Now that I don't have as flavorful of foods, added, spices has been a joy.

The wings, or any air frying is faster because the tray creates a smaller unit, effectively halving the size of the oven. It makes it more efficient in circulating the heat around the food.

I know this is 3 years old but I’m in a similar dilemma with my nearly 8 year old son. He’s still in his harness car seat, we didn’t turn him forward facing until he was nearly 6. For his 8th birthday we’re getting him a booster but I’m torn between the high back that still has a harness to use for a bit longer or this Chicco backless booster. This is the one area I’m probably most protective about as I know what damage a car accident can do. His car seat has saved his life before when we were hit hard (car totaled) and while he walked away with nothing but a bruise, my husband and I both had and still need spinal surgeries. He’s my one miracle child, I will not gamble with his life simply because I or even he will be teased. He’s going through growth spurts, getting taller, but he’s still a small kid, he doesn’t have a problem with the harness or extra head protection until his cousins or grandparents say something about it. Again, we’ll switch to a booster but I think we will stick with the high backed harness then slowly transition to seat belt then backless as he gets older/bigger. As the parent, it’s my job to make him as safe as possible. I’m not judging but I know people who switch kids early for the sake of convenience and that is simply not a risk that I am willing to take, no matter what anyone says. You’re a good dad for caring this much about your child’s safety!
@m3rdpwr
@m3rdpwr 4 ай бұрын
I 100% understand where you are coming from. If you still want to go with a booster, there are two styles. There are convertible boosters that use a five-point harness and then later the back can come off of it. There are also boosters that just use your regular seat belt. My daughter is now 14, and she's only about 80 lb. I've had her sit in the front seat of two of our three vehicles. Only one of our vehicles detect her sitting in the front seat. This becomes an issue, because the airbag would never go off in a front end collision. I bought an expensive Chico booster seat. She only used it for about a year and it still has the tags on it. It's been sitting here otherwise collecting dust. I'm looking for a good donor to take it off my hands. Do what you think is best. Thanks for watching and sharing!

Ninja came out with cheaper models. They're slightly bigger and bulkier, for a lesser price. I'm not sure if you visit woot.com, but often they have refurbished units for about 80 bucks. I've ordered things like that before and they practically look new. It might be something worth investigating if you're really interested in it. I just felt that the ninja wasn't a true air fryer oven, more of a convection oven. Otherwise it is great for a small space, heats up and recovers quickly and also toasts unlike some air fryer ovens. There are new versions of this pants. Where the cargo pocket is on the legs, there is now additional slip in pocket on each side. So this is on both the shorts and the pants now. It's really nice to be able to just quickly slide your phone into either pocket. The only drawback, is if you have your LCR in that cargo pocket, that phone slot becomes awkward because the LCR is pressing against the phone and your leg. I wanted to do an updated video, but I didn't think there would be any demand for it. Thanks for watching!

Also, I found the LCR in 9 mm to be an interesting one. Moon clips instead of using a speed loader. I used the five star firearms speed loaders for 38 and 357. They are very well made, you should just buy there custom holes to for it if you choose to go that route.
