I like my Breville for what I use it for. Baking and pizzas. I don't have the smart air but the smart convection oven. I have always thought that the fan was just an after thought. Being that it is on the side if I used it I would have to rotate or the right side would burn. I was considering on upgrading to the smart air but once you checked for me and found out the fan was still on the side, I decided not to. I am waiting someone to come out with a ducted type oven. Just like a pizza oven that blows from the top and the bottom. Then we will be looking at the ultimate air fryer.

I said the same thing with the side fans, just an afterthought. Burning was an issue too. I think it's the TOA-60 or one of those Cuisinart models, that has the fan on the top. It's smaller than the Breville, but more like a large toaster oven. I've been curious to test it, but I think Donna would snap if an 8th AF came into the house! lol

Thanks! I've been thinking of doing the what I eat video. However, I am not strict Keto, in the sense that I don't track carbs or calories, more I follow the guidelines. Oh boy, pop corn. I have tried that in the past, unsuccessfully. But, I tell you what, I will start working on the possibility again. I gave up on it, because microwave pop-corn only took 2 minutes and 45 seconds to cook. I'll keep everyone updated though!

Hi, it's Pauline about the Pop corn!!!!! I thought to put 1cup of Pop corn in the pan and spray with canola oil on 350 for 20 min. Being how I'm diabetic don't like butter. I'm thinking about trying it. Will let you know. What do you think?

@@paulinerobles9364 You can't do that. You need to have it enclosed. You do not want loose popcorn in an Air Fryer! In a microwave, some people will put kernels in a paper bag and nuke it. DO NOT put paper in an Air Fryer! I have tried popcorn in the rotisserie with the proper container, and it did not go well. Finally, you could do what my wife did. Buy a small air popper for around $15 at Target or Walmart.
