I hate it when they lock the perfume up in shops and you have to ask for it

So I have only smelled the original Good Fortune, but I wasn’t excited by it. I found it pretty boring and generic. Not bad but not great. Probably a really safe blind buy for people who love jasmine. But I am interested in trying the Elixir. Also, I love Angel Elixir too!!! I actually had really low expectations based on my disappointment over it not looking like a real Angel flanker. (I mean when I first heard the name I was so excited about what it might be like.) Only to realize it actually looks like an Alien flanker. And I personally think that’s exactly what it was designed to be. But because they had just come out with Alien Goddess, they decided to market this one as a derivative of Angel. (My conspiracy theory. Lol) Anyway I got a free sample of it and wasn’t super excited to try it , but I was SO pleasantly surprised!! It’s so good!! In fact I used up my sample way too quick. I need to get a travel spray of it, because it’s totally worth having. (I shouldn’t be surprised because it does have notes I love, jasmine, ylang ylang, vanilla , amber and sandalwood. And I love the specific 3 notes you mentioned as well.) I just wish they would have marketed it appropriately. Anyway, not surprised you like it too. You have good taste. 😊😍

Aventus for Her, Calandre, Bottega Veneta, Figuier Eden

I feel like there are so many perfumes that smell luxe and expensive. But I’d say Sonic Flower by Room 1111 because it’s sophisticated and unisex with iris, and Dama Bianca by Xerjoff because of the fresh flowers, and because it’s unlike any other floral perfume I have. Also Shalimar Tonka which is one of my all time favorite scents. It has the sophistication of the OG, but without the gasoline smell at the beginning. Also just about any Guerlain or Tom Ford perfume. Specifically thinking of Cuir Beliga (vanilla and suede) , Tonka Imperiale (the most beautiful spicy Tonka perfume), and Feve Gourmand (chocolate done classy). And for Tom Fords I have to mention Amber Absolutely (resinous perfection), Soleil Blanc (it just smells like you belong to a country club and lay out at their pool-lol) , and White Suede (a gorgeous musk and suede perfume). There are so many others I could mention , like Grand Soir by MFK (another incredible Amber) and Iris Malikhan by Maison crivelli (a really unique creamy and aromatic take on Iris that smells expensive), and Narcsio Musc Noir Rose (a slightly fruity and rosy musk). All of these smell like what imagine wealthy people smell like. Lol. I also want to echo someone else’s comment on here which was La Panthere by Cartier. Such a classy and expensive smelling perfume. It’s actually one I probably wouldn’t have tried on my own based on the notes( dried fruits, gardenia, oakmoss etc), but I actually love it since I got a sample of it. It don’t know how anyone could smell it and not think class. Lol. So pretty. (Btw my in laws are very wealthy, and my mother in law smells like Tresor. That’s what she wears. Lol)

Not at all surprised with a lot of these. Especially the Donna Born in Roma , Vanilla Woods and Chance eau Tendre. I still love DBIR, but the Intense one has taken over the original for me. I just love vanilla, so the extra vanilla with the black current, jasmine and woods really does it for me. And I’ll never forget the first time I heard about it when I was at a Von Maur counter and an associate mentioned the name and said it was new and people seemed to like it, and then said that she didn’t get it because it was way too woody and masculine. But as soon as I smelled it I loved it. I don’t know what she was talking about at all!!! Anyway I’m curious if you like the intense version. I’ve been trying not to get new perfumes because I have so many. But I gave in and got samples of 2 Kerosense ones. One is called Winter of 99 and it’s a very spicy vanilla. Specifically the spice nutmeg. And the other notes are molasses, woods and vanilla. Can’t wait to wear it this fall and winter. The other one I got from them is called Promises, Promises. It’s essentially vanilla, amber and musk. It’s also beautiful. And I’m a sucker for those 3 notes. Anyway I’ve used quite a few decants up, but of course they’re all my favorites Which is a bummer. But I still have plenty to use and enjoy. That being said I do really want to get the new Goddess Intense. I have the original and really like it. Have you tried it? It’s comes off almost fresh to me for some reason, even though it has a lot of vanilla. I imagine the intense version will be less fresh seeming to me. But we’ll see. 😊 Too many new perfumes!!! lol

I am obsessed with Leisure in Paradise by Simone Andreoli, Hazy Rose by Ramon Monegal, Skydive by Gallagher Fragrances, Ajayed Dubai Portrait by Lataffa, Salty Breeze by Autobiography by Paris Corner, and Shagaf Men by Swiss Arabian. I just got Cabana Sunset by Navitus in collaboration with Paulina Schar, and I love it; I believe you will love the lichi in this perfume. I am letting it sit for a couple of weeks. I love your list!

I have both, I love the extreme but I hate the Le parfume. Never doing a blind buy again 😅 I only smell sugar and cinnomen in the le parfume and I don't like that

Hi, can i ask where you purchased your bottles from?

I have always had two fragrances I loved more than anything. My journey started in high school in the late eighties. Ricci Club by Nina Ricci (which has been discontinued for years now) and Pour Monsieur (first the EDT concentrate then the EDP). I wore them both till discontinuation and then bad performance issues from the Chanel. Pour Monsieur lasts only two to three hours on skin but find the smell just beautiful. I have searched for substitutes for a long time and found nothing. I still keep a bottle of Pour Monsieur for nostalgia’s sake. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I love Obsession for men. It's a great fragrance. I still wear it sometimes and I have around 200 fragrances in my wardrobe.
