So I don't normally like patchouli, however I really like Jimmy Choo edp. It was one I was really curious to try because it has a prominent toffee note that really intrigued me. I ended up ordering a sample and it really is beautiful. Somehow even though the patchouli is fairly prominent, it's not green, or herbal in any way. It doesn't bother me like many so. It just adds this slight spice and depth to make it darker and more long lasting. And obviously to keep it from being overly sweet. Anyway I'm a big fan. I STILL need to get Prada Candy Night. Can't believe I haven't tried it yet. It sounds amazing. And the Deep Dark Vanilla sounds really nice too!! And now I'm wondering if Dark is Night is similar to Jimmy Choo. It's rated higher on fragrantica. Btw, unrelated but have you tried Boyfriend by Kate Walsh. I had never tried it back in the day, but of all places I tried it at my hair salon and immediately fell in love and bought a travel spray. Its so good!! It has vanilla, amber, myrrh, plum, wood, benzoin and jasmine. And I adore it. And they have a travel size on ebay right now for $23. It's def a must try if you love amber, vanilla or insense.
