Let's be clear; only the assists are keeping Clark afloat. In long-range shooting in the last few games she has only slightly exceeded 30% once, often going below (0/7 in the All Stars vs Team USA match). If we then analyze the defensive performances (and I'm not talking about rebounds or blocks) we fall below sufficient. And what about her record for turnovers? I don't doubt she'll make it to the top 10 sooner or later, but now she's out of it

@@bobbylee9727 Most WNBA players have had even longer seasons than Clark, playing in overseas leagues far more competitive than the NCAA. Juhasz played her last game in Italy when the WNBA had already started. The holiday will certainly benefit her, but don't expect to see the Clark of last year; in the WNBA the defense is tougher and you can see that she is changing her game, fewer shots and more assists

@@user-xk9dl8xw8l CC's defense is that she is looking for "ways to win" as she is either being double teamed or CC has a hand in her face from defensive WNBA players she did not see while at Iowa...for the most part. If and when the defense falls back due to her pinpoint "dimes" to her team mates, CC will resume shooting her three pointers on a more consistent basis to which fans have become accustomed.
