Thanks for the video. It would be better to remove the bracket, clean the slide pins and lube them, and also clean the bracket where the new hardware sits, so they aren't sitting on rust and debris. It will help the new pads slide easier if the new hardware is sitting tight against the bracket. The new pads should not be tight in between the new hardware at top and bottom. Putting a bit of lube on the caliper fingers and the piston will help prevent brake noise. The torque specs on those caliper bolts is about 20 lb ft, not super tight.

Can't you just tear off the camper throw some boards on top and register it as a homebuilt?
@sparkgapgarage52527 ай бұрын
I could, however, I would have to bring the truck and trailer to the state police Department to get certified and inspected. Too much of a headache at this time!

How is the Oil Cooler doing? I noticed you turned the ports to the downside. Does that make for ease of draining and cleaning when necessary? In that orientation, how do you pre-fill it? Last, I see many Dodge owners use the 90 degree fittings at the cooler and not the sandwich adapter, why did you choose this setup? Most kits only include (2x) 90 degree elbows at one end of the oil lines, so a choice does have to be made. Thanks.
@sparkgapgarage525211 ай бұрын
It’s actually been doing great. I ultimately decided on this set up so the lines drain easy for during the oil changes. As far as the fittings it was a decision I made that would work for my use. I might eventually go through the kit to see if I can tidy up how the lines are ran underneath the car.
@RG-od4jk6 ай бұрын
How do you pre fill it next time around when doing the oil change since there upside-down I only ask because mine set up is the same way lines going down so i could drian easily. But I don't know how to pre fill it now unless of course I have to unstall and Redo it again any advice
