This video is how I installed my evil energy oil cooler onto the car. This oil cooling system adds an additional 2 quarts oil oil capacity to the engines 8 quart of oil capacity.

Love how the actual installment of the oil cooler wasn’t even in here🤣 “hey guys here’s it on the table” then cuts to “hey guys here it is all installed in the car”🤦🏽♂️ did a great job explaining there’s no question there but damn bruh show the actual installation🤣

I know this is a year later, but the fittings into the sandwich plate are ORB fittings, o-ring boss and do not require any pipe tape, in fact pipe tape could compromise the threads.

Thank you for your comment! I didn’t know this. I must be fortunate to not have any leaks at the fittings. I will keep this Information in mind and plan on updating the oil lines.

@@sparkgapgarage5252 No worries brother, for future reference, AN fittings and ORB do not require any sealing materials, if the fittings are leaking that means the fitting is bad or compromised. Good luck, I'm about to install this kit on my Hellcat swap race car!

What engine do you have in that Chrysler? And what's the part number on that oil cooler kit
@sparkgapgarage52522 ай бұрын
5.7 hemi. I ordered the oil cooler kit on Amazon. (16 row AN10 transmission oil cooler.) I have had 0 issues with mine.

How is the Oil Cooler doing? I noticed you turned the ports to the downside. Does that make for ease of draining and cleaning when necessary? In that orientation, how do you pre-fill it? Last, I see many Dodge owners use the 90 degree fittings at the cooler and not the sandwich adapter, why did you choose this setup? Most kits only include (2x) 90 degree elbows at one end of the oil lines, so a choice does have to be made. Thanks.

It’s actually been doing great. I ultimately decided on this set up so the lines drain easy for during the oil changes. As far as the fittings it was a decision I made that would work for my use. I might eventually go through the kit to see if I can tidy up how the lines are ran underneath the car.

How do you pre fill it next time around when doing the oil change since there upside-down I only ask because mine set up is the same way lines going down so i could drian easily. But I don't know how to pre fill it now unless of course I have to unstall and Redo it again any advice

That wasn’t the radiator that was the ac condenser that’s why these cars where prone to over heating, the air flow was crap

Hi there, wondering how the cooler is holding up . I've seen reviews on eBay some of this hoses leaks. Thinking of buying for my 95 gm diesel truck
@sparkgapgarage5252 Жыл бұрын
I haven’t had any issues with this cooler. I used some extra preventative things to prevent any leaks. Like thread tape on all hose connections.

@@sparkgapgarage5252 awesome. Thank you. Would you says probably strong enough for a diesel truck? Did you get it on eBay?
@sparkgapgarage5252 Жыл бұрын
@@blackincawston If I’m remembering correctly the one I installed was the bigger option and I believe from eBay. It was meant for a truck so I would think so. Something else the hoses were pretty long so I just had to route them and secure them that way I did not have to cut any of them. Well like I said I have not had any issues with them.

I would do some research on what type of oil cooler would work best for your application. The kit I use is for racing purposes.

Won't that decrease the oil pressure
@sparkgapgarage5252 Жыл бұрын
No this will add to how much oil will be in the lubrication system. The main theory of the cooler system. is to keep the oil at a cooler temperature which in return will prevent the oil pressure from lowering down to a dangerous pressure. The oil temperature should be at a very temperature for my use while racing. I would not recommend using the cooler for daily driving.
@Knight.of.the.Dawn.2 ай бұрын
@@sparkgapgarage5252 Why do you not recommend using daily? I live in Saudi Arabia and the weather reaches 46 degrees Celsius and I have an SRT and the oil temperature after driving for an hour becomes 103 degrees Celsius (217 degrees Fahrenheit)
@sparkgapgarage52522 ай бұрын
I was mistaken! If I would definitely use this oil cooler on a daily driver.
