I'm upset that Utah poached the coyotes, Utah didn't need to poach the coyotes when they might get an mlb team along with already having nba and mls. I don't want there to be a city that has every major sport but is missing nfl, just like how Los Angeles was missing an nfl team from 1995-2015. So maybe Utah should get the chargers or if any city was going to poach the coyotes, it should've been Houston, because Houston is in the central, while Utah is too far west to be in the central.

I think If we're adding 2 more teams to Ontario then York should relocate somewhere in Quebec, Trois-Rivieres and Sherbrooke are good ideas, as stated it's the second most populated province so it should have more than one team. I also feel like if we're gonna go as north as St.John's we might as well try Yellowknife in the west, it's ambitious but that's why it's great, having at least one team representing the nothern regions. Some other things are that if alberta and SK are going to have 2 teams, we might as well give a second one to manitoba, and for Ontario Kingston is another good option. Lastly it would be nice to see a team in mocton to complete the atlantic regions, but that might as well lead to a whole new idea of having even more divisions with 20-32 teams: Atlantic, Eastern, Midlands, Western/Pacific. That's all

1:05 There is no way you would put Atlanta in the central. Just because Pittsburgh is east doesn't make it an eastern team.

I'm from Atlanta and live in Atlanta and love hockey. The big problem was that the stadium was downtown. Most hockey fans are in the suburbs like baseball. The braves recognized this and moved to Marietta and turned from one of the worst attendance teams to a consistent top 2 team in attendance.

Surprised you left out suburban Montreal on your list. If Toronto and Vancouver can support an MLS and CPL franchise each, why can't Montreal? Especially with the amount of talent coming from that area such as Ismael Kone. I think Metro Montreal gets a CPL franchise before Quebec City does.

Issue with Toronto is the Canadian government will make the CFL a legal monopoly (as Canada does love so much, monopolies, not the CFL) and has said so last time the NFL explored the idea of putting a team in Toronto.
@CharlieND
@CharlieND 5 күн бұрын
Yeah. It's frustrating that the government does that, but I guess they're worried about the NFL taking viewership/revenue away from the CFL. I wish they wouldn't be so protective of the league.

@@CharlieND Agreed. I also find it funny considering the CFL did "invade" the US markets but at the idea of the reverse everyone loses their minds. Its an annoying part of immigrating here, Canadians are a strange sort like that

Yeah, no. I watched the whole video to make sure you didn't have any good points, but it basically boils down to "I don't like cars and I love trains". Trains suck in cities where it does work, but it absolutely wouldn't work for L.A. no matter how many KZbin videos you watch saying that they're God's gift to transportation. You cannot walk in LA. Even if you spent billions and billions to install trains and subways and redesign the streets to have nice sidewalks, it's still too big and spread out to walk. It's not dense like cities where trains work. This is not a problem either, I prefer that LA's not all squeezed in tight. Angelinos know how to navigate Los Angeles in a car without it being too much of a problem. Regardless, this criticism isn't really about Dodger stadium specifically anyways. The criticism for dodger stadium is that it gets jammed up with people when leaving and entering. But, you forgot to mention the Dodger Stadium expess bus that's free and has a dedicated lane, or any other actual solutions. And the Chavez Ravine: It was already targeted to be reposessed by the city because it was a slum. If Dodgers stadium wasn't built there, something else would've been. It's ancient history anyway and literally doesn't matter. Overall, a poorly thought out video with a ragebait title and content to feed people's desire for negativity as long as you don't think about it too much.
@CharlieND
@CharlieND 6 күн бұрын
I never said I don't like cars. You're just putting words in my mouth. Cars are cool. But they're still objectively a less-efficient way to move people than trains, despite what every seething car-brain says. It's just geometry lil bro. Go ahead and call my title rage bait if you want (sticks and stones and all that), but it still got you to click and you're coping in my comments, so mission accomplished. I still stand by everything I said.

No Canadian government would contribute to this, no prospective owner can afford something approaching US$10 billion to build a stadium and buy a team, and, most important, the NFL has no desire to put a full-time team outside the United States. It's also extremely doubtful the NFL will ever expand again.

Here's a question for everyone in this comment section, coming from a Houstonian. Would you rather die before you get to see my city implement enough proper safe alternatives to driving, along with bike lanes and such OR Would you rather uproot you life to live in a country that already HAS those amenities? That's what I think everyone here is missing. You may be content with trying to advocate for that change in your own places, but just know it took the Netherlands DECADES to create the pedestrian (paradise) it appears to have now. Are you REALLY wanting to wait decades to not have to risk getting run over by a car whenever you want to ride a bike? or walk? or anything else? Just be prepared to die before your city actually makes enough changes. If you care enough about living in a safe place for everyone, I doubt anyone here is going to wait until they're 70 to be able to take a train or a bike to work.

People are free to move if they think that's the best decision for them personally. But those who choose to advocate for changes in their communities shouldn't be discouraged from doing so.

Another thing that I would also implement is a new point system. Three points for regulation wins, two points for overtime wins, 1 point for shootout wins, and 0 points for losses. No pity points just so you can sneak your way into the playoffs.

I think we should go back to the divisional style with the top four teams from each division making the playoffs. The division semi-finals and division finals formats to determine the division winners to represent the Conference Finals was pretty dope. I was just always someone who wanted to see each playoff structure for each sport be unique and this was unique because it emphasized rivalries.

I’d say that an NFL team would thrive in Oklahoma City. Oklahoma loves their football as much as Texas does. That would make for instant rivalries with the Cowboys and Texans.

I remember reading about the (former?) mayor of Vancouver really wanting an MLB team & using their sold out minor league baseball team as an example. You would still need an ownership group & city elected officials on board but I could definitely see a team in there. A couple hurdles that might hurt Vancouver or any other Canadian potential team, would be the U.S. teams losing tv revenue & currency exchange rates. Also, you can bet the owners of the Blue Jays would quietly try to block another potential Canadian team, if they haven’t already. As of right now, the Blue Jays have a monopoly in the country & that would be a hard thing to give up.

It seems like most of this video is you complaining about traffic and the general lack of public transportation in LA (or in most of the US rather). You have some very well researched points, but ultimately you don't care for the area and its navigation which is fine, and this has little barring on the Dodgers Stadium itself.
