Priorities: 1. Bring the Expos back to Montreal 2. Bring the Grizzlies back to Vancouver 3. Bring the Nordiques back to Quebec Once we do that THEN lets talk about new MLB team in Vancouver. Otherwise this would be a huge slap in the face to Montrealers

If Vancouver ever gets an MLB team, it would be only fair if they’re placed in the NL West, just so the NL can have one Canadian team. That would place them in the same group as the Dodgers, Giants, Rockies, DBacks and Padres, unless one of them moves to a different NL division group.

I remember reading about the (former?) mayor of Vancouver really wanting an MLB team & using their sold out minor league baseball team as an example. You would still need an ownership group & city elected officials on board but I could definitely see a team in there. A couple hurdles that might hurt Vancouver or any other Canadian potential team, would be the U.S. teams losing tv revenue & currency exchange rates. Also, you can bet the owners of the Blue Jays would quietly try to block another potential Canadian team, if they haven’t already. As of right now, the Blue Jays have a monopoly in the country & that would be a hard thing to give up.

I think it could work but yeah the other site could be Nat Bailey but that’s a Double A park. When I went two years ago I saw a few Canadians caps alongside Jays caps.
