Do I need to disconnect o2 sensor connector to put on an o2 spacer? I mean I know the sensor needs to come out to put the spacer on, but do I need to disconnect the sensor from the electrical connector end as well? Will the wires wind up tight if I try to just take out the sensor without disconnecting the wire?

Idk if the spool gun on the arccaptin will do this but if u can set up the gun were when ur welding the wire should look like it’s dancing around like in a circular pattern. And push the gun and use straight argon. That will get u the best looking and clean results.

Straigh piped my 96 tack when it was only a year old. It's still fixed this way. But you're right it is not a permanent fix eventually one of these days I'll get around to swapping it out with a URD simulator. I straight piped because it's actually better for the environment, not for power or to make it loud. The deletes are permanent, it's the fix that'll eventually get upgraded.

Please tell me more about those brake lines. I am doing a long arm setup on my xj this winter and need to address the brake hoses.
@FMJeepingАй бұрын
@@benjaminreinhardt259 those are All-star brake lines from Amazon/ebay. They are various lengths depending on the run. There is a line going to the rear and then split at the rear differential . From there each wheel gets a line. The front is the same way. I ran the lines from the master cylinder to the middle of the rig. From there , the lines go down the upper control arm to the axle. I have a video about it here. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fnuqqZmlg5hof7s

had a bad cat9 (P0420), did the half tank/1 gallon of lacquer thinner... ran it on expressway for about a 100 miles. next day, I started it and did 2500rpm for 15min (in Park).....filled the tank with gas and went on the expressway for 40 miles.......I did all this with my OBD2 scanner attached, so I can see the downstream 02 sensor graph. The graph showed (during lacquer thinner) O2 sensor2 kinda mirroring sensor 1----which is a sign of a bad cat. The graph (during 2500rpm) seemed a bit better(more steady,but still throwing p0420)(I cleared all codes every day). My last ride on the expressway my scanner showed all tests have passed and was ready to be emission tested. I raced to the testing station...and PASSED

I'm in the same boat as you my friend being 6'2 225lbs, the seat has to be all the way back. What happened to me was on a few very jarring ruts on trails, I smacked my head super hard against the B Pillar, rung my bell to the point where I had to stop for a few minutes. Ended up finding some rubber tubing to wrap around the B Pillar as well as some removable zip up neoprene. Couldn't imagine what that would feel like in an actual rollover.

@FMJeeping2 ай бұрын
@@leetos.4915 That's the thing with using a scanner that data logs. You want to make sure that the O2 sensors are doing what they're supposed to be doing. That way you're not replacing sensors that are working for a faulty cat. I would err on the side of caution and try to do the diagnostic before spending money on sensors then ultimately needing to replace the cat
