I have a Westinghouse 7500df. Never used gasoline. It will only start if I take out the air filters. They are perfectly clean. The engine has 150 hours. I set the valves as suggested by Westinghouse. It runs fine after starting and I put the filters back in after it's running and it keeps running. What should I try next? Thanks.

I'm a forklift technician, so I deal with hydraulic pressure settings on a regular basis. DO NOT change the settings of your hydraulic pressure relief valve without a pressure gauge attached to the system. In addition, DO NOT set your relief pressure above factory recommendations. Believe it or not the engineers who designed and tested your tractor are not trying to make a slow, weak piece of junk. If your tractor won't lift enough for your purposes, buy one that will. Changing the relief pressures above factory setting will only bring you grief, damage to your tractor and possibly injury to yourself.

Had an issue with my cs2210, dealer turned up pressure a little. Made a big difference, i wasnt thinking and didnt ask what pressure. Keep in mind, the extra lifting capacity also increases the danger level, so be mindful, and get a ballast box. Better safe than sorry!

The maximum lift recommended by the manufacturer is set based on what the front axle is designed for. Boosting pressure to lift more will cause premature front wheel bearing and spindle failure.

Literally the worst explanation of water and combustion I have ever heard. First off it's one oxygen to two hydrogen atoms to make a water molecule. Hydrogen is not a particle it's an atom. Oxygen is not burned it combines with a combustible material. When hydrogen burns in the presence of oxygen it literally forms water. The main byproducts of most fuels that are burned in the presence of oxygen is carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, and water. Of course soot and ash as well as the levels of CO2 or CO is going to depend on how complete your combustion is.

Your heater is NOT splitting H2O into its component parts. If there's' popping its just water flashing to steam, which is dangerous but not because it's splitting into hydrogen and oxygen.

How about a video on turning up the engine horse power please. I believe the engine in your tractor is also the one used in the ck 35's. It's just a matter of turning up the fuel supply to the engine. I also have the exact same tractor as you do and I love it. I tested my hydraulic pressure today and it came in at 1650 PSI so I guess I'll be doing the same as you in the spring. Thanks

for a drip tube heater - most people are using forced air - when there's not electricity then what?
@mattmarzula
@mattmarzula Жыл бұрын
That is the number one drawback to burning oil because that sustained burn and complete combustion requires massive amounts of either heat or air. You could get crazy with the Cheez Whiz and hook up peltier modules to a battery bank with a low power computer fan. You could do solar panels and a battery bank to a blower... But, all these things don't separate you from the need for electricity. You can use wood in combination as a base of heat at the bottom of the steel burn chamber. It will create a draft and naturally aspirate. You could get creative with the piping and have your burner outside with a small straight vertical pipe taking air in the bottom and exhaust out the top heating a series of pipes in a heat exchanger that runs into a duct pushing air with a Sterling engine powered fan. You could do the same open air design and make an enclosed steam system that runs through a radiator indoors. There's a bunch of ways. The thing is, you're on the internet. Why would you ask that question in a comment section on a small amateur KZbin channel unless all you wanted to do was troubleshoot the guy?

""Why would you ask that question in a comment section on a small amateur KZbin channel unless all you wanted to do was troubleshoot the guy"""' Is it not by Gods law, to help one another.? Thought you would be more intelligent and not bust people balls ................ forced air requires electricity >>>> the details are not on the internet its in the individuals design , is at its best requires massive amounts of heat >>>>>> oil has 144,000 BTUs per gallon, what you do with it is something else Where and how do you get enough of the used oil for a season, and when the SHTF how many other people will be doing the same thing - gathering oil and it becomes a race against-for survivable ? Why? Those are all variables that don't have to be exact. They're based off the space you have and the burner you use. The principles stay the same. Air and fuel into burn chamber. Exhaust out of chimney. Copper tubing doesn't touch the flame. It's that simple.

Water is two atoms of hydrogen and one oxygen atom. You are not providing enough of the proper energy to break the hydrogen oxygen bonds so they can not recombine and produce energy. The water is vaporizing into steam at a rapid rate.
@user-io3hy4zb4s
@user-io3hy4zb4s Жыл бұрын
I'm not sure if you're serious about the water or not. In case you are, the chemical bonds between the hydrogen and oxygen are not broken apart by fire like this. Electricity will of course. If you're dripping water into a hot fire, it's going to vaporize into steam which serves to put the fire out if in large enough quantities. It'll hiss and pop when it hits the hot metal or whatever and is instantly vaporized. Engine coolant , which is sometimes dumped in with the oil, also causes problems.

If it's a tight design and has a good air draw, it'll be fine. Draw is mostly affected by smoke stack length and how wimd is going over/ past the stack. Too much wind can draw the fire into the smoke stack (which is bad). Putting a damper on the flue is a good idea so you can restrict the airflow when it's really windy out. Or help starve a chimney fire of o2 . A burlap sack soaking in water is good to have next to the stove in case of chimney fire. To use, open the door, QUICKLY throw the sack on the fire , shut the door and cut o2 as much as possible. When you put it in there, you want it covering the fire as muc as possible so that the maximum amount of heat possible vaporizes the water so that it Hopefully puts the chimney fire out. Steam is one of the best fire extinguishers. If you just throw water on the fire (or use extinguisher), you just put that fire out. The one in the chimney, which is much more likely to burn your building down, is still going.

False. So much for doing research. You thank a guy for his video and tell him he doesn't know what he's talking about in the same breath. All the while not knowing what you're talking about. Who does that? First off, it's MAPP gas. I don't trust the information of people who don't know the industrial or marketing name of a product. Telling someone to do their research and putting out incorrect information is a sure way to highlight your own ignorance. Methylacetylene-propadiene propane is not simply propane. What was a chemically superior open air torch fuel was simply not economical. It's marketed as MAP-Pro because MAPP gas is trademarked. It's still sold in yellow cylinders it just no longer the same chemical composition. It's propane with propylene. You boost it with your red cylinder oxygen bottle and it does just fine. The only reason I know so much is because I grew tired of old farts always commenting about MAPP gas and how the two cylinders in their garage were like some strategic reserve that they were going to bust out to save the day. Meanwhile, the gas I was using was inferior and therefore I was inferior. The reality is those geezers mess up every job they do when they're not mostly sitting around talking about "back in my day". If they were serious they'd step it up to oxy-acetylene and quit crying about the defunked MAPP gas with their jagged cuts and brittle welds.

@@mattmarzula I wasn't trying to beat the guy up. Like it seems you're doing to me, two wrongs don't make a right. I thought map gas burned at 5300 degrees. Not the 3703 degrees. They stop putting real map gas in those yellow cans back in 2008.

water is 2 parts hydrogen, one part oxygen. the popping sound you hear is not hydrogen exploding. It's water turning to steam while immersed in oil. water doesn't break down into it's 2 components until you reach very high temperatures. Way hotter than you're going to get in your stove. Probably best not to play professor on the internet unless you are one.
