I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate the help you gave me. I have a horse trailer that I have to move some times, my CS2220 could not lift the tongue till I adjusted the pressure valve. Thanks again PS try boosting up the horses power on the pump, I've been told the 22 hp and the 25 hp are the same?????

Had an issue with my cs2210, dealer turned up pressure a little. Made a big difference, i wasnt thinking and didnt ask what pressure. Keep in mind, the extra lifting capacity also increases the danger level, so be mindful, and get a ballast box. Better safe than sorry!

Great Video. My Kioti is also in need of a bump in pressure. I have a pressure gauge and a Hydraulic Quick Disconnect Coupler 3/8" NPT,CEKER ISO 7241-A. What is the correct flared reducer size to connect to the return line elbow? Is it a 5/8" Flare x 1/2" Female Pipe? Thanks.

Greta video , just for reference on the 2220/2520 the adjustment is behind the left rear tire not the right rear

@@MarkWilliams-vp7xwwhat was it at from factory ? On the online commercial their saying 1100 lbs at the pins I couldn’t pick up a 600lb delivery he had to take it off the truck with his dolly … also cutting grass this tractor will bog down so bad it shuts off while the guy next door with the riding mower from Kmart is kicking me in the balls

How about a video on turning up the engine horse power please. I believe the engine in your tractor is also the one used in the ck 35's. It's just a matter of turning up the fuel supply to the engine. I also have the exact same tractor as you do and I love it. I tested my hydraulic pressure today and it came in at 1650 PSI so I guess I'll be doing the same as you in the spring. Thanks

Great video, about how many turns in did you do. Thanks.

Honestly i dont know, i was more focused on the PSI than the actual turning. If i had to guess maybe 2?

On the point of increasing cylinder area to increase force, keep in mind that the flow rate of the pump would still be the same. While you will get more force, you will equally reduce the cycle time (speed) of that circuit. The system would lift more, but it would do it very slowly.
@walkersworkshop8002 жыл бұрын
You are correct it would take more time. But with a pump that makes about 5.5 GPM as small as these cylinders are a increase of 1/2 inch would only be about an extra two or three pints total. So the time difference would be very minimal

Why not use the power beyond port for the backhoe [can it be used] to measure from?

Well hey enjoyed your video but being retired from UPS I noticed your hoody right off.

What did you do to load the System ? (Dead Head) That Gauge should show a minimum Pressure when nothing is actuated .. All valves at neutral... EDIT: I think I see you had the Gauge on the Power beyond port. With the Hose disconnected. The gauge was the Dead head.. Mike M.
@walkersworkshop8002 жыл бұрын
Yeah i guess i could have mentioned that if tested in a different port the procedure would be different. Thank you for the feedback

The filters are not under that amount of pressure.

The maximum lift recommended by the manufacturer is set based on what the front axle is designed for. Boosting pressure to lift more will cause premature front wheel bearing and spindle failure.

I'm a forklift technician, so I deal with hydraulic pressure settings on a regular basis. DO NOT change the settings of your hydraulic pressure relief valve without a pressure gauge attached to the system. In addition, DO NOT set your relief pressure above factory recommendations. Believe it or not the engineers who designed and tested your tractor are not trying to make a slow, weak piece of junk. If your tractor won't lift enough for your purposes, buy one that will. Changing the relief pressures above factory setting will only bring you grief, damage to your tractor and possibly injury to yourself.

All that work to make the video and not once did he show how to adjust the pressure. Turn what? How many? What direction? Waste of time.

Clockwise to increase Not sure I would crank mine up to 2600 psi tho. I believe a 1/2 turn clockwise is close to 200psi

A 20 minute video and I don't believe there was the simple mention of which way you turn the allen screw, in or out to increase pressure. And did you turn it 1/4 turn, 1/2 turn or full turn to achieve your results? Come on man...
@billsmithingell79022 жыл бұрын
The relief valve is pitting oil pressure against spring pressure. When the oil pressure reaches the set pressure of the spring, the valve opens and relieves the oil pressure. That said, to increase oil pressure, you need to increase the set pressure of the spring, so you tighten the adjusting screw (turn it in), and to lower the pressure, you back the screw out to lower the set pressure of the spring.
@2010mannw2 жыл бұрын
I’m 7 minutes in and it’s pretty easy to see he tightened the Allen screw to raise pressure. As for number of turns, you use a gauge, not turns. Mass production means it can be different from machine to machine. Hence the gauge.
@Lefishn2 жыл бұрын
You can literally see him turning it in so why would you need him to verbally mention it? Plain as day he was turning in to increase pressure
