Their music is timeless ... gives me goosebumps when I hear it today as much as it did when Foreigner first hit the stage then

I am watching this Nov. 2024. I'm 63 years old and still in love with this band and Lou. Going to see him the end of this month! Finally in the RRHOF!

This version of "Jukebox Hero" is without a doubt one of the best live songs ever played by Foreigner, or anyone else for that matter.

This came from Toto Live in Paris. This the second song on the playlist with opening song being Till the end. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qGrbeXioqKaFl6c. I know the house engineer who confirmed this to me. He also confirmed that this was recorded directly off the console. NO OVER DUBS. Not sure how it got out but this is a great post.

OMG SUCH AN AMAZING BAND AND I WENT AND SAW THEM IN THE 1980’s right after the Foreigner 4 Album 💿 came out~ This video gave me chills and I cried at their story .. such geniuses!! Mick just had it all .. and there was so much I didn’t realize how they came to all be together!’ I saw FOREIGNER LAST NIGHT w/Kelly Hansen lead vocals, and although he’s f’n amazing too, it’s always good to remember where it all came from. Or rather where all these #1 hits all started and how they were created. I’m 57 now and my bestie & I went & saw them last night 11th row from stage at a sold out show at the Puyallup Fairgrounds & we couldn’t even sit down we were so excited… every single last song we sang and jammed to and knew by heart! ♥️ We were so happy to have went and we really had the times of our lives~ ❤. I LOVE FOREIGNER AND IT TAKES A LOT TO GIVE ME CHILLS BUT WATCHING THIS JUST DID! Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️ for all who made this film ~ the best ever blast 💥 from the past!!~ 🥹🙏🏼♥️😌🥲🫡

He was drummer for a band called spooky tooth. And then did a solo album before Foreigner way long time ago in early 70's.

Lou was so exciting to watch. How he sang and he held that mic and stand and moving across stage. What a voice .Foreigner would have never been that successful without his great voice. It is something special. He sang from his heart deep down. What a performer he is

How amazing is it that Mick Jones held on to Lou's Black Sheep album for over a year before finally listening to it and immediately realizing he was the guy he had been waiting for to complete the band? This after auditioning 40 or 50 vocalists before him. Kismet.

Im glad i got to Write a promo for LGB, chat to him on myspace, and he could put together songs just as good Solo..hes a forgiving Soul whose been through so much! I remember being online, and he just appeared on the other end, still pumped from a Concert Collaboration with Phil Collins, and a few others, eludes me now. Id been thrown about in a car crash, could hardly walk, but being involved with The LGB Street Team, helped me theough some dark days. Pity i was clear across the ponds and all i had was chat, and my own writing skills..Ive never met him in person, but feel like I did, on a level far above and beyond being there, if that makes sense. We shared stuff, i can never put words too. Bless you always Lou, cyah in heaven my friend.❤ 🙏 Stay the course.

What a Voice Joe Williams

Joe Williams does better on his own songs in Toto. Even in his prime, I couldn't imagine Bobby Kimball singing this type of song.

I can't say Mick jones was a rememberable guitarist as much as I can say Foreigner would have never made it with out Lou's pipes! Lou made Foreigner what it was.

I remember learning this stuff in '75 in the basement. I agree with Billy that Mick is an odd guitar player. Very unique in his phrasing and fingering. A total nightmare to emulate actually.

I saw them on the Isolation Tour, and when they played this, it was one of the most sublime moments I've ever had with music of all kinds, classical, rock, jazz, big band, religious. Steve Luthaker played the most amazing solo I've ever hear. It was delicate, heartfelt and almost rapturous. I know those are all pinnacle words, but that was how it hit me. As the solo starting winding down, I was sad, because I knew I'd never hear that particular solo again.

Joseph sounds a little bit rough, but it does not disfigure him as a singer. He did smoke cigarettes, maybe it had an influence to his voice. Anyway He is stunning!
