I wish they would build the SR71 and F117 for DCS 😄
@ghostdog68831 минут бұрын
They’d need a much larger map area to make the SR-71 make sense. The F-117 could be interesting, assuming the radar cross sections can be accurately modelled.

Hell yeah!!! So excited a big streamer took this module for a real flight!! I think VSKYLABS are an underrated outlet. Love their work and price points. Would love to see you play with some of their other modules. I am especially partial to their Maule and Eurofox

I was stationed at RAF Lakenheath in the 90's and was fortunate enough to see the SR-71 do an early morning takeoff up close from the end or the runway. I thought it was going to shake my little van apart. It was an amazing machine in every respect.

Hey Sir. I saw this bird in Okinawa Japan. Up close and everything. I had a buddy that was in the U.S Airforce that worked on it. He developed the film from the camera that is mounted on the front of the bird. Thank you again Sir for the great video

It makes me sad to think people are still clinging to their obsolete simulators and for one reason or another refuse to make a quantum leap in sim fidelity to MSFS 2020.

Why is the argument between Xplane/MSFS still going? Just let people enjoy what they paid for even if it's "obsolete".
Very nice video! I love those "spy planes" the SR-71 and the U-2 both are very impressive in their own ways.

I was working at Dulles Airport that day as an electrician and to see the SR-71 come flying over head was nothing short of amazing. Luckily our crew was working at the mid-field terminal closest to the runway which the plane landed so we got to experience the whole show of the plane landing and then deploying the drag chutes to slow down and stop. As an aviation geek, I'll never forget that day.

Sweet. I know not period correct for this flight, but wld be great for a sim 2 have the P&W J58 start up with sound and flames of the 1960-62 Buick Wildcat 400 cubic V8 powered start cart (x2) revving with JP7 at 6000rpm. Just saying. Amazing that in first 15 years of the program, Blackbird destroyed enough Buick 400 cubics that every single junkyard in the US was exhausted of Buick V8s - none left! @daveslow846 сағат бұрын
how often does that happen to an aircraft, especially a large AND military one? :D You don't drive it through the suburbs so I think limited forward visibility is fine ;) the Boeing 747 has over 80ft/25m of "deadspace" straight ahead were nothing can be seen by the pilots!

Very helpful tutorials so far, but you lost me at "set 50% N1" at 2:30 and then again something about a white donut at about 4:11 or so. Can you explain what that means and how/why you're doing that? Thanks! I'm also a bit confused about how to adjust the trim wheel with my mouse. It just keeps spinning back to wherever it was already set. I understand these videos are a couple years old and the sim might not be exactly the same any more. Thanks again for your time and your very helpful videos.

I've never understood the insistence by simmers of modeled circuit breakers in modern airliners. Drives me insane. In real life you don't ever touch a circuit breaker, like ever. In fact, most airlines prohibit pilots from doing so (and it's not in any Non-Normal Procedure). This is by far the best addon of 2024.
