Been watching this project since I was in middle school, I’m now in my 30s. Congratulations on the Herculean effort by so many people over so many years. All the best for the future.

thats ALL great and all .. but ther eare only 180 players online and that just doesnt cut it . a gmae like this needs 1500 to feel alive . and we all know its never going back to those numbers.. its vrey sad but theres not much to do against it. even JTL will not magically 10 fold the player numbers.. Also the fact that is a bit hard to get the base game keeps many players away. WHEN will it be available for download from the EMU page ? .. what is the maximum legal protection on copyright for software anyways ?? ..by the time the law allows it all players who ever played this game are dead or in retirement homes.

I've been watching the development of this project for years. I can't wait to see episode III and the 1.0 launch. Huge thank you to everyone who's is and has been involved in making this dream a reality!

So, Finalizer is not the final server without wipes? But NFS is? I can't wait to start again. I have been playing on and off but sadly it has been more then two years since i logged on for last time (Basilisk). Recently i am feeling that urge again because i do miss the game. Great achievement and an awesome job. /respect

I never got to play this as a teen. I saw an advert for it on the back of PC Gamer and dreamt of what it could be like. Your emulator brought those dreams to life now in my mid-30s and it's a lot of fun, even if I'm soloing off a Linux box in my study. I hope I can connect and play with others soon after my move and if my internet works well enough with your server. It must be an amazing feeling to live and breathe Star Wars in this game, unlike any other. SWTOR never did that.

I've first heard about Star Wars Galaxies after the NGE update was released and when I was too young to play MMORPGs (according to my folks, of course). The game intrigued me - the Pre-CU build more so in recent days - but I've never got the chance to play it as a kid. I am interested in giving SWG a try and I want to begin with SWGEmu. I'm just worried that this server's version of the game might be too obtuse, even for my autistic brain. Which might explain why I'm putting off installing the game and registering an account XD Regardless, I'm happy for the SWGEmu team and proud of everything they're done for the SWG community as a whole. I wish you guys continued success as you continue to develop your project.

maybe yall need to a little more study on jedi, cause its damn sure yall dont know how jedi work. SO yall dont want them to be alpha characters, but damn can you make them at least beta instead of a character that can be beat by a starter toon.

When you say faction pets and bases were making too much credits and loot risk free, thats not true.. the pets and bases cost alot of faction points, and well thats just how it was. By nerfing that you are ruining the original vision of the game.

An unbelievable and astounding achievement! I remember over 10 years ago helping with the trainer locations!! Well done SWGEMU...an amazing achievement and you will be part of Emulation and game development history for the rest of time. You deserve so much more than a thank you. For alot of us you have brought back our childhood and best days. The future is so exciting! Cant wait to finally login on the forever server for the first time and say...IM BACK!

In the bass farming he was referring to is we used to set tier 4 bases down and then it was basically an instance that took about 10 people to do each person would end up with about 400,000 credits two weapons into skill tapes in a two buff session

I started playing on Nova and Suncrusher. It's amazing to see how far you guys have come since I was on those servers!

Very good but when you wipe the server ...again..Ill be done for good because I'm not grinding it all over again. Do use a favor and allow 1 character to be ported over..plz thk u because no matter what the people say on your forum your going to loose more players then you'll gain with another wipe..

This great game died when EMU launched..... WHY let everyone become a Jedi without earning it... its basically giving everyone a participation trophy....
