Here is another one of what I call Paul's two-minute wonders, along with "Dear Boy", "For No One" and "Backwards Traveller" that he probably just pulled out of thin air sitting at the piano. Such a beautiful melodic song. I have a mental picture of driving in East Hampton in summer, this song is playing in my car, there's Paul walking along and I call out, "Paul this song is one of the simplest but best you ever wrote!"

I was introduced to the Flamin Groovies 10 years ago. I was working in excavation and my crew was helping a nursery dig holes for larger trees on our clients new property. One of the nursery guys was listening to the Groovies on his phone. I was like, what is this? And he was like, this is the Flamin Groovies.

It's that smug three note clarinet solo and when it all falls apart after the failed trumpet break (at 1:38 )and the drummer comes in on the wrong beat that gets me.
