I've been wanting to play Digimon again for old time sake and I was going to go do a Beelzemon deck, but I might give this build a try. Granted, I'm not caught up in the Digimon Meta at ALL mostly because I've been playing Disney Lorcana lol

You know I’ve been a fan of GabuBond ever since your BT9 list. I was bummed that you took a break for a bit and I still had my Bond deck sleeved with no updates since BT10 since I became a XROS Heart enjoyer 😂 When you came back I was so stoked for your updated lists and happy that you topped 🤣 I’ve tried all your updates and they always felt so clean! The one I didn’t understand was from your previous iteration with togemogumon but after watching this update I do feel convinced again to try it. Side note from your previous build, I did realize that an extra Howling would of been nice when I was playing at locals, which you did here and Hi-Speed Plug-In D felt so meh at times in my hand. As for Ice wall it hasn’t really been as good for me. Lastly, How do you beat tyrant 🥲 there’s this local tyrant player and I just can’t beat the deck. Please do share 😅 Anyways keep up the content brotha 🤙🏽

I'm glad you like the list! Tyrant is a weird matchup, I would say because of fox fire you are generally favored vs tyrant but you have to keep in mind you need to be aggressive early before they have redirects with the tamer and also you normally want to keep a matt in hand so when the Ace pops your Matt's you are still able to late game go for bond. The metalgaruru and sora joe are really nice in the mu as well and utilizing them to their full potential will usually allow to to snowball vs tyrant. But there will always be a chance the tyrant player pops off with trainings/mem boosts and gets 2-3 Megas on the board and you can't really come back from it but tyrant can't high roll as often as gabubond can

@@PrimitiveKage Thank you. Yeah there’s a player I’ve been matching recently and he just always gets the set up, trainings and mem boosts and I just can’t win at that point. I’ll try that approach to be more aggressive against the match up

I will Def be back to the shorts soon just been taking a little break from digi so I'm not playing as much weekly as I normally do but I'll be back to the normals schedule soon and that will come with hopefully daily shorts but shorts none the less

Thank you! I'm not the biggest fan of the new ukko over the old ukko but it's a decent consistency card. Bt16 changes up the matchups a bit but bond still have a really strong mu spread of built and piloted correctly

Na I cut it down to 1 and added the ice wall back. It's good to end game vs magnaX but you can usually shut off their when digivolving anyway and they can't block bond at 14k. It's still strong into blocker mu and even just making a rookie unblockable in thr late game can win you games so I still like it at 1 but ice wall too good even in a slow meta

Strip sources shut off when digi and go for game. Or blue plug in if you don't have togemogu/zudo to strip the armor form and need to get through blocker

How does the deck fair against tyrant?

It's the bt16 deck I have the least games vs so what I'm about to say should be taken with a grain of salt but in my experience bond is a bit too fast in the early game for tyrant to keep up and build a reliable board and since our main form of removing level 6 is fox fire and not a digimon effect you have ways to deal with the stack if it sticks on board. The kuwaga ace popping tamers can be annoying if you only see 1 matt in the top half of your deck but I haven't found tyrant being able to deal with matt at a pace that shuts off my bond plays

Toge is insane. Has different uses than geso but since devas is out of the meta toge is more viable. The strip and stun into blocker helps vs armor, nume, and vaccine decks while also being helpful vs partition. But having the strip effect combo with zudo Ace blast digi is really powerful at shutting down stacks early
