Did he say practice is a myth? One must put the time in to become valuable. The amount of effort is relative.

Since I was a kid maybe 4/5 I knew it in my heart of heart that I don't "WANT" things, didn't have Desires, I'd even think or "know" somehow, that “As long as I'm alive, I'm good." That kinda made me for example; rude to people cuz I didn't give a sh¡t essentially, never really pursued anything, I even had this vision of me sitting in a dark room in front of a TV, and I'd say "yeah that'd be fine." I was never truly angry, sad, depressed, anxious, afraid, or even happy before (at least not for more than a couple of seconds), I was always just me, the same state of mind. Whenever I listen to kapil answering these dump questions, it feels like self gratification cuz he answers the same way I would, I won't say I'm ammune to society, but I'm hell aware that whatever bullshit I regurgitate sometimes is just bullsh¡t. Watering down your speech even with the 2/3 People that you've net picked cuz they're different than the masses and more like you is just, nothing really I just think It would be more useful if I can articulate my ideas more freely without them loosing me. Why am I even writing this comment, who cares I'll post.

I am already pissed at this content because it hits my ego and perception of matter. However, I will come back in a few weeks and revisit it to see if I can better grasp this.

A big applause for a brilliant voiceover. Your speech syncs so well with the intensity of this discourse and the feel of kapil gupta.

when we are born we have to practice to talk and walk and do all things we do but after we lean them (any skill) we do not practice it. Dr. knows the best does not apply here. He is generalizing that all practices are myth. He is covering himself well and say once you know something you don't practice it that is partially true. when you are in a comparative sports the idea is to win and the more you practice a better possibility you have to win. He is a great sophist(a person who reasons with clever but fallacious arguments.). It is odd there is no comment in the last two years here. wow

What do you mean by success?
@Entertainment-uc2cm Жыл бұрын
it is not about definition, it is about introspecting the imageries and feelings that get produced in yourself when you hear the word "success"

Strangely, I paid for a premium subscription and downloaded most of these conersations to listen offline... No begging bowl for popularity here .... KAPIL: "What i am excited about. What really moves me... is the idea of permanence. What really moves me is...- -Like I don't WANT to feel good through meditation. I have no interest in wanting to feel good and the reason I don't is because I know its like you said: I know that I'm going to have to do it again. And I don't want to do it again. That isn't what what drives me. What drives me is the permanent state" [...] "I've never gotten excited by hole-in-ones because I know that it's largely luck. Now if you do it twice in a row, I'm interested. Because now I know that you have a system. If you have a system I'm interested now. Because you figured something out that nobody else knows. Now my ears are perked now. I'm all in. I'm listening"
