While I appreciate your knowledge and insight, your interviews would be a whole lot more enjoyable if you were not constantly interrupting your guest with your “right, yeah and um huh’s”

0:17 You got that right! Just look at the terrible IAU planet definition! 1:30 Is she actually a planetary scientist? Because nearly all planetary scientists recognize moons and planets as not mutually exclusive terms. Pandora is a planet, it’s just a satellite planet of Polyphemus. 2:59 Case in point.

I wonder how it still gets pulled by the sun or something else at its farthest point in orbit
@noahnorman6877Ай бұрын
Fun Fact: since Sedna takes over 11 thousand years to orbit the sun, that means since humans have been around it has made only 27 orbits around the sun so far.

Mind blown, makes me wonder if the small one is picking up a ton of mass, speeding it up and the tge friction of the crossing perhaps slowing it, I'd love to get an astrophysicist's take on this.

I had this video on my Gen 1 iPod that didn't have a built in speaker, and listened to it obsessively growing up. I haven't listened to it in years, for some reason it crossed my mind in the shower today, I came up with the words to two of the 3 verses, the chorus, and the bridge. I came here to remind myself of the verse I couldn't remember (it was the middle one) and to walk down memory lane <3

It's an absolute shame that there are people that watch this trash who believe your cgi cartoon horseshit. I literally feel bad for them. You guys, not so much. You know what you're doing, and you know where you're going for it. God bless the children who watch this and think that they're any smarter for it. I'll pray for them.

Hello Jessie - I am so massively grateful to you and your team for publishing the Exoplanet Archive - it really showcases humaity at its best that you guys have shared this. I started to publish my new theory for the evolution of stars and planets, and amazingly the exact week I hit "send" on publishing it - I was able to access your Archive. I had been "hoping" to check my theory against 5-10 Exoplanetary systems - so imagine my surprise and delight, (and terror), when suddenly I could check it against the whole Archive. My theory accurately predicts the semi-major axes of all the systems on your Archive which I have examined so far, to an accuracy of 5%, and in most cases, an accuracy of 1%, and also forecasts the mass-distribution, as well. This theory for the first time also explains why our own Jupiter has the mass it has - and this can be applied also to Exo-planets. If you want to find Earth 2.0 - I can show you where to find it! I can also show to you that the outer "planet" in the Trappist-1 system is not a planet, but is a dwarf planet. Please contact me.

Hi Jessie, it's fascinating that there are at least some exoplanets that we can directly image! I just read an article about a team from Durham University in the UK discovering a possible planetary disc around a star in the Large Magellanic Cloud, are we able to detect planets that far away using current methods?🤔 Thanks for the great content, can't get enough about exoplanets!!👍👍

Maybe Sedna is orbiting a black hole. That orbit is just way too large. there must be a big space object at the center of sednas orbit..

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Ideas vs truth Truth the earth is flat . 2 simple tools compass and sextant. If I'm on the equator my compass will be pointing into space. Look up the definition of a sextant and what it does. To make sextant 12 inch ruler, protractor string and a weight . The easiest is to look at the sun and moon when they are IN the CLOUDS
