Oooh the fairy encyclopedia book sounded so intriguiging. The cover of what moves the dead is so weirdly creepy, I will be staying very far away from that one thank you. The way through the woods sounds like such an interesting concept too, where do you find all these weird mushroom related books? Also the park at the end is so pretty!

Ooooh I had never heard of the book of dust before and now I'm intrigued. I'd forgotten so many of the details in this series, I can't believe I forgot about the existence of the aeronaut altogether, I used to love him! I'm also still so jealous of your super fancy copies of the book, the cover and the interior art is so pretty!

Ooooh I'm so glad you enjoyed the very secret society of irregular witches! I completely agree though the sex scene felt a bit out of place compared to the vibe of the rest of the book. Omg the pet pick idea is too cute! Also, The Golden Compass being dark academia is kinda crazy to me??? Like, yes a part of it takes place at a college but....well...I mean I guess it does fit a bit. But I think maybe closer to bright academia than dark? Although it does get very dark so maybe it does fit. I don't know. I'm conflicted.
