I dont understand you moved a unit within overwatch range and the moved the rino could they not overwatch because at the time of your disembark and move they could not see you? but you ended your movement in plain sight?

Technically, you don't need to get into engagement range of the unit that is the target of the charge, just end your movement closer. There are only 2 things you are compelled to do, stay outside engagement range of non-targeted units, and end btb of the targeted unit IF POSSIBLE. Since it was impossible to make btb contact with the target of the charge, that first model could end outside engagement range, of the targeted unit and 1.1" of the fights first, and now you can put all the attacks into the fights first and still circumnavigate fights first. Just saying. Is it against the spirit of the game, sure, but legal nonetheless. Good video though

Things that worked for me: - DW melee in Rhino; watchmaster is situational, digital weapons on him funny as hell, 5/10 men squats playable, but I tend to 5 w/o watchmaster - subductors are awesome for moveblock or actions as super annoying to shift, priest gives them sustained in melee which is nice for fight on death and he adds a bit of punch - navy breachers look good on paper but in reality your opponent needs to be on a marker to reroll wounds and you need rogue traders to use strats for free to add steength and AP - chimera with 12 agents plus inquisitor is one of my favs: to melter / plasma on firing deck, two heavy flamers for overwatch, inquisitor gives -1 to wound, a 6++ and free strat on a 3+ - when using canis rex I recommend an immolator for ignore cover and center control - voidsmen with DS are perfect action monkeys I love this faction. Models are top tier and extremely fun to paint due to variety. Playstyle is currently limited to board control realistically as it lacks tough units with compatible synergies against top armies (eg Deathshroud bricks). Keyword distribution is a nightmare across this army (chimera only carries agents, termies can only be joined by Corteaz,...) and @GW please give us a real army rule...

I'm a simple man, so I run fixed BeL/Locus in various lists. Honestly speaking, it makes for really good results

Just a heads up only 1 Rogue Trader squad can infiltrate. Not really worth taking 2 Rogue Traders due to this.

Had to double check that traiter datasheet. 8atks hitting on 3s with -1 2 Dmg. T6 with a 4+FNP 7 wounds. Tougher than you think.
