Heck yeah man. Reminds me of the plate chalcedony we get up here. I was out in the scenic a couple weeks ago and found some bright red botryoidal on a couple of pieces of plate chalcedony. They shine a mean green under the UV.

@@leviwarren6222 man, the red with the bots is some hard to find stuff up there! That’s some of my favorite. I used to UV hunt at night in the chalcedony fields of scenic. I found it to be the fastest way to high grade any pieces with fortifications in the centers, bots, and opal. Not flashy opal, hyalite or whatever it’s called. You will also find stuff that has killer phosphorescence and glows for seconds after turning the light off. Pinks, orange and green glows can be found, also the watermelon type which is green and pink. Pretty cool stuff out there. Thanks for tuning in and best luck up there!

Arizona has some nice stuff to offer, I just gotta get outside my “comfort zone” and get to exploring some of these cool places while I’m here. Thanks for watching!

@ I made this one right at 24” in length. Any longer for me and it knocks on my legs and can tangle me up when walking. Any shorter than 24” and I get into some knuckle busting spots once a hole gets some depth. Kinda the happy medium for me, but adjust as desired!
